What’s Happening Around the Blogosphere?

This past week, the town of Binghampton, New York, was hit hard by flood waters. Binghampton, the home of a good friend of my husband’s and a blogging friend of mine, is not the only East Coast city hit by flooding. My sister’s town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, is also suffering. It has broken my heart to hear of my own sister’s house sinking as the foundation cracks and shifts on the super-saturated land.

My friend, Mandy of From the Trenches of Motherhood, has started a toiletry drive along with a teen girl and her local church.

Who’s ready to show the community of Binghamton, NY the passion of the blogging community?

Mandy is collecting toiletry products to distribute to the community, such as (but not limited to):

• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Soap
• Baby Wipes
• Diapers
