If you’re looking for super fun valentine’s day cards your kids can hand out to their friends at school, you’ll love these “You Color My World” Free Printable Valentines.

These fun free printable valentines that Steph, one of our writers, created has been a reader favorite here at 5 Minutes for Mom for so many years! 

Coloring is all the rage these days. From adult coloring to kids creating masterpieces, it seems like everyone is breaking out the crayons. And that’s a good thing. Steph was inspired to make these Valentines because her boys and her love sitting down in the afternoons to color their little hearts out. Coloring is a great way to fit in a little family time.

Encourage coloring with these “You Color My World” Free Printable Valentines. They are a great alternative to the traditional candy valentines which we are sure the other parents will thank you for.

DIY Valentine Card Supplies:

  • White cardstock
  • Crayons – You can use a large box of crayons or look for small boxes in the party favor aisle.
  • Colorful washi tape
  • Card template PDF – Download for free…

These valentines are inexpensive. You can buy a large box of crayons at the dollar store and divide the crayons among valentines for the classroom.

Follow These Simple Steps:

Making these cute Valentine’s cards is as easy as 1-2-3…

  1. Open the PDF template and print the cards out using white cardstock.
  2. Once printed, cut the cards out
  3. Tape some mini colored pencils, pens, or crayons onto the front of the card using washi tape. (I found ours in the party section) Washi tape is perfect to use as it won’t damage the card when removed. Plus, they are come in many colors and style to match your cards!

You can hand out the valentines as-is or you can dress up the cards by placing them in clear cellophane bags and sealing with more colorful washi tape.
