Back to School Giveaway Event

As an English teacher, I know the value of technology in the classroom.  As a mom of a preschooler who plans to homeschool, I understand the value of being able to have classroom technology at home.

Many machines used in the classroom for copying, printing, and laminating are large and cumbersome. That’s why I was thrilled to receive a Fellowes laminator for at home use.  This small and light machine can fit easily in our small home and be pulled out conveniently for use!

Fellowes Laminator

A laminator may seem like a frivolous or unnecessary item for the home, but it has an abundance of uses.

Preserving

fellowes laminatingMy first laminating project was to preserve some of my daughter’s art.

She has begun drawing our family and often asks for her hand to be traced. I knew that over the years I would want to preserve some of her work and the Fellowes laminator was quick and easy.

I was able to have her work immortalized in just minutes.

Creating

Laminating is a great way to create your own art or home decor.

I laminated a fun printable to use in a child’s room.  I also created a chart to help my daughter work on obedience and kindness.  You can create charts for potty training, reusable calendars, menu planners, and more!

Laminate your recipe cards so they aren’t ruined by spilled food or even create your own Bingo cards and Tic Tac toe pages to be used again and again.

Teaching

As a teaching tool, laminators can come in very handy.  I made some alphabet cards for my daughter.  We are working on writing letters, but she has a difficult time doing it from scratch.

By creating a tracing paper and giving her dry erase markers, my two-year-old was able to draw her first letter A! There are so many classroom uses for a laminator.

The Neptune3 125 has a feature called InstaHeat Technology that allows for a 1 minute warm-up. It also has AutoSense so the user doesn’t have to go back and forth between settings and wait for the laminator to heat-up or cool down. AutoSense instantly adjusts to whatever pouch thickness the user is laminating up to 7mil. Finally, it has a robust 4-roller system for a superior quality laminate.

The Fellowes Neptune3 125 Laminator was perfect for all of my projects. They took just moments to complete and only required me to slip my project into a self-adhesive pouch and insert it into the laminator.

I love the simplicity of the product. There was virtually no setup and no confusing directions to wade through.

I was also impressed with the quality and thickness of the self-adhesive sheets.  The papers I used came out sturdy and perfectly sealed, unlike commercial laminators, which are often flimsy and detach.

Neptune3 125 Laminator Features:

  • AutoSense Technology – Determines pouch thickness and instantly self-adjusts to the perfect setting.
  • InstaHeat – Quick 1 minute warm-up for increased productivity.
  • 4-roller system for incredible laminating quality.
  • Laminates 3mil – 7mil thermal pouches and cold self-adhesive pouches
  • Includes a laminating starter kit (ten letter pouches)

Whether you are a teacher, a crafter, or a homeschooling mom there are plenty of ways you can use the Fellowes Laminator. Find out more about laminating projects on the Fellowes Idea Page.
