I feel like it is the last few shopping days before Christmas and I am scrambling to get finished in time…

The party has started! You can find the main post and linky’s here! The party will run April 9th – 16th. Don’t forget to leave a comment over at the main party post to be eligible to win prizes.

At the last minute, we decided to add some extra fun to the Ultimate Blog Party 2010! (We needed a challenge right???)

So here is what’s happening during the UBP 2010:

  • The UBP2010 BEGINS — 12am ET, Friday, April 9th, 2010

    The UBP will officially start and the LINKY will go LIVE!!! (Please stagger your timing ladies so our server doesn’t crash!)

  • The Ultimate Blog Party LIVE — 9-11pm ET, Friday, April 9th, 2010

    The UBP LIVE will be a video simulcast on MomTV and 5 Minutes for Mom where Susan and I chat via web cam and text chatting with YOU! We have various bloggers around the country that we will live stream in during the UBP LIVE as we talk about hot blogging topics! Make sure you are there — you can interact LIVE via text chatting.

  • The #UBP10 on Twitter — 10-11pm ET, Monday, April 12th, 2010

    This will be an hour dedicated to getting to know each other on Twitter with questions about blogging, social media and YOU! We will host a special Twitter Handle RSVP for this event so you can find and follow the other participants easily. Check back for that post this weekend.

  • The UBP IRL live stream featuring CHRIS MANN!!! — 9:45pm ET, April 14th, 2010

    This will be a LIVE event in LA (6:45pm PT/9:45pm ET). We will live stream the performance by Chris Mann on 5m4m.

    If you want to attend the FREE concert in Los Angeles, click over to RSVP at Eventbrite. The concert will be at Genghis Cohen, 740 N. Fairfax Ave, LA, CA 90046. Attendance is limited, so hurry and book your spot. Enjoy the show — your first drink is on us! And feel free to spread the word.

  • The party ENDS — 11:59pm EST, April 16, 2009

    Entries for the fabulous prizes close at 11:59pm EST, April 16, 2009. And then we will begin trying to draw ALL those winners! Please have patience!

  15. I am SO glad I saw this post go by on facebook earlier Janice! Otherwise I don’t know if my post would be done on time! lol! But it’s done and scheduled! 🙂

    My husband is having some medical issues with his heart and has had test after test for the last 2 weeks. We meet with the doctor on Monday for full results. They have already been able to diagnose some serious issues, including a valve prolapse, so now we just need to find out the extent of the problems as a whole and hope the doctor has a good solution. *praying* So I don’t know how much I will actually be able to participate in the fun. I am looking forward to blog hopping though while I can during down time. Maybe it will help keep my mind positive!

  16. I did a blog post about the upcoming party highlighting some info you shared about last years UBP and then some about this years! So excited to be part of it. Still not sure how to be part of it all, but I will figure it out as we go. Twitter parties I still don’t get how to participate and stay up with the conversations! LOL The tweets go by so fast and there are so many of them. I get lost pretty easily. *grin*

  20. I have to say this is the EVENT of all EVENTS! I have had the MOST fun, met so many wonderful people, found new and wonderful blogs – Just a great time all around.

    Love the “new additions” to this years events. Will try to be there with bells on 🙂 You guys are so fantastic doing this! (hugs)

  22. I have searched and searched, and even though I see lots of info promoting the Ultimate Blog Party, I have not seen anything that describes exactly how it works. Can someone please post a link for me to learn more about how the UBP works? And what exactly I need to do to participate? Thanks!!
