In our recent Back to School giveaway — which is still open for you to enter — we shared with you a helpful family organization tip to set up a smart phone/device charging station on your kitchen counter or another central location that’s away from kids’ bedrooms. We showed how using LivingPlug’s INLET transforms a standard, old electrical outlet that only allows two devices to charge into a safer, more efficient and stylish solution.

LivingPlug redefined the electrical outlet when they launched their INLET product through a Kickstarter campaign. We actually posted about that campaign in June 2013.

Their clever idea was well accepted and they successfully reached their Kickstarter goal and have brought the product to market.

The LivingPlug INLET increases child safety, conserves energy, and enhances the outlet’s overall utility.

It comes with an interchangeable faceplate system that transforms a typical electrical outlet into a home decor opportunity. The faceplate simply slides onto the four pins on the INLET.

Our favorite is the option to design your own custom faceplate using a photo. Janice loves having this baby photo of Olivia above her kitchen counter instead of a regular outlet.
