Digg, the ultimate social media rockstar once valued at $160 Million has been sold off for an estimated $500,000.
It’s a shocking reminder how quickly sites can rise and fall in the world of NEW media.
Personally, we were never into Digg… I guess that’s because we’re girls… which may also be why we’re so in love with Pinterest!
So while we feel badly for those who lost money or lost their jobs at Digg, we’re really happy Pinterest is here… hopefully for a long time.

Interesting info! Thanks for sharing! I wasn’t into Digg either, but I think Pinterest is going to be around for awhile..like Facebook.
