Laughing and sleeping through the night…
Sophia is starting her New Year off right!

January 1, 2008 was the day Sophia first laughed. And laugh she did… this was no tiny murmur of a giggle. She full out belly laughed over and over again for about 5 minutes as her daddy entertained her with a rooster puppet.

And then after happily tiring herself out with her new trick of laughing, she went to sleep at midnight and slept through until 6 am.

What a wonderful start to our New Year!

Doesn’t it bring so much joy to a parent to hear their child laugh? I can’t get enough of it!

Oh, that is a great start to the year. Glad you are having a good one…my house is having a rough start with an infant with a BAD ear infection and a preschooler who keeps peeing in bed. Oh well…it can only get better, right?

Yeah for the laughing though! That is awesome!

That’s a great story. I hope you get to record lots of laughs. There’s nothing like hearing it again after they have gotten older. My Mom has a tape of my daughter when she was two. She sounds like Minnie Mouse and it’s really adorable.

Realize how lucky you are, from a mom who wishes she were sleeping through the night.
