I love the faces of my kids and husband Christmas morning and praying to the Lord for all the blessings we have been given before they open gifts because the Love of the Lord is the best gift of all. Being together is important an giving back is even more vital. It keeps my children aware of how blessed we are.

  198. I have nine grandbabies and I enjoy everything about x-mas with them. We go & cut the tree down & decorate it on x-mas eve. We bake cookies together. And of course everyone comes over x-mas day. My husband and I do all the cooking. By the time the day is over I am very tired. But I look in my livingroom with everyone there. A big big smile comes across my face and I know all the work was worth it.

  254. Friends and family. We have a tradition of all of the family getting in the car on Christmas Eve and driving around looking at the lights. Then we stop at an older ladies house that we visit every Christmas Eve to brighten her day. It’s tradition.

    • I have 7 grandkids and not Abel to give nothing for holidays. Had a variation and on a fix income. By the time I pay my bills just maybe I have 15.öo to spare. I made good money before this happen but now I need a car for radiation in a different county and there is gas to think about. Most of the Timep I just stay home.Hard to face llife with nothing

  388. My favorite part of the Holidays is actually taking over Toys for Tots. I enter contests all year and send over each toy. Almost all of the toys are the newest on the market, and so unusual and hard to find here. One year we took over a pick up truck full, and we took them in on the day the parents were picking the toys for their children. Seeing the parents smiles was only aa clue as to the smiles the kids would have. We also help serve the Christmas meal for the community at church and that is fun too!
    So for me, it is the giving…..
