i think that they would love the excitement of going into a new grade, and learning some fun facts before they do so, so that they cam share them with their friends.
I would say the challenge.
My son would like the puzzles. He is currently really into them right now. Plus, he just handed me a form from school today that lists once a week where he can go to school and continue learning over the summer. He is super excited about it.
Just glad he likes school at this moment. There will be a time when I will be prying him to learn.. (at least one can hope not).

There is not a most special season than summer. Free time for activities to do with our little ones… but if we do not stimulate properly sadly they forget what they have learnt in the school year. In my opinion, Summer Brain Quest offers in just a few minutes per day a great cognitive challenge essential for reinforce and why not learning new concepts.

As nice as it is to feel like you are “free” of school-type stuff during the summer months, I find that once we finish homeschooling for the school year, that my kids actually miss the structure that it gives. I am always on the lookout for activities to keep them engaged and learning, even if it is only for an hour a day, and I think my son would enjoy the variety of challenges offered through these books.

My daughter has always loved brainquest. She likes when I get them for her for summer break because then I can just tell her how many pages I want done in whatever subject and she can pick the ones she wants to do instead of me picking off the computer. I even tell her like you can pick 1 of the first 10in math but the reading has to be a page from pages 50-60 because they do increase in challenge with the pages.
