I’m a big fan of these cute books! The illustrations are adorable, and the humor level is just perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. I found myself chuckling a bit, especially on this page from the pirate version. Oh, that X made me giggle!
I happen to have a three and a half year old princess and a two year old pirate in my care, and I’m happy to say that the princess has been using her royal potty for over a year now, but that pirate is still donning his jolly roger themed diapers. When the time comes (and man, I hope that time comes soon!), I can’t wait to pop out the pirate hat in this book and reward his beginning attempts on the potty with the gold doubloon stickers.

This book would be perfect. I am in the process of trying to get my own Princess potty trained.
My three year old is already potty trained, but this would be a perfect book to save for our youngest daughter who still has a while left in diapers!

Oh I am in desperate need of this! My daughter who is just starting to walk has also decided now is the time to not want to be stinky. She has started bringing me the diaper and wipes before she does her deed and she’s only 13 months! I fear if I don’t catch this window now it will close for a few more years.

My son is 3 and a 1/2 and we are trying….though unsuccessfully, to potty train him. Tried books, videos, rewards….nothing seems to be doing the trick. He goes when he feels like it and usually first thing in the morning and that’s about it. But he’s really into pirates so maybe this book will help things along! With my last of 5 almost potty trained, I desperately want to be out of the diaper stage!!
