Olivia’s First Ice Cream Cone

Last weekend, at the end of a fantastic evening at the beach, Jackson wanted to stop for an ice cream cone on the way home.

Olivia was soaked to the skin, her diaper swollen with salt water and her face still dappled with mud. But she didn’t mind a bit — and when she saw Jackson getting an ice cream cone, she wanted one of her own.

I thought she would only have a bit of hers, but aside from a few licks from Jackson and me, she ate the entire cone – right down to the tip. She barely even made a mess, ensuring that every sweet drop was in her mouth.

I have a feeling, it is the beginning of a life long love…
