Rustico and AJ

“If I ignore him, maybe he will just go away…”

Poor Rustico — the elderly dog next door. Our A.J. is a hyper-friendly, super playful pup and Rustico is a tired old girl. But sweet Rustico is so patient with A.J., she just quietly tolerates him and walks away when she can handle no more.

    What a sweet old doggie… Rustico is the perfect name for such a pretty dog.

    How precious is that. We lost our old girl last April. Sure do miss her. She was a Black Lab & 17 yrs. old. Thanks for stopping by me and following. I’m doing the same.

    This reminds me so much of the relationship between my dog and my parents’ dog. Both have been gone for years now, but they were just like these two!

    My dogs do that! No way did I think anyone else had pets like this. I have a Bloodhound and Chiahuahua and the Chiahuahau is always liking the BLoodhound.

    I love how patient older dogs can be. My black lab is 8 and he tolerates my mom’s younger dog like you wouldn’t believe!
