Tackle It Tuesday

Okay – I have three really good excuses…

Yes, I know. I am a hopeless leader – a tackling failure. Once again, I have no household tackle to show off this week.

BUT – in my defense, (and isn’t a really good excuse not so much an “excuse” as a “reason?” 😉 ) I have three really good excuses.

  • One – my digital camera is in Italy! So any really great tackle would be lost without the photographic punch to show it off.
  • Two – I am so lost in the world of emails and work that I can’t manage an extra thing right now.

With Susan in Italy and me covering her workload too, I am going out of my mind.

So please have mercy on this pathetic, pregnant woman who just can’t keep up with her life. Her house is in desperate need of a year’s worth of tackles, but alas – right now all she is trying to tackle is her inbox.

  • Three – and this is the FUN one – I am working on getting together an onslaught of contests for our Mother’s Day Giveaway. (We will be running at least six giveaways!) This is going to be fun ladies – make sure you check back later today to sign up for the first one. (Hint: it is a really great prize. And I mean really great!!! You simply do NOT want to miss it. Trust me.)

Now – lets forget my tackling excuses and get on to the good stuff! What have YOU been doing?

Link up and show off! 🙂

I really dragged my feet on this one, but I finally (!!) got something up, nice and respectable-like, with photos to boot. Thanks for the motivation.

If my digital were in Italy, I’d just turn my computer off and wait until it returned, Janice. LOL

I’d say you’re excused. Any one of those three reasons is enough. Besides. You’re tackling your email. That counts.

    🙂

I didn’t participate in Tackle it Tuesday, unless you count the fact I had to chase and tackle the dog…but wanted to say I am excited to read about the upcoming contests! So you just forget Tackle it Tuesday and get those contests together.:)

I’m staying with my in-laws while hubby works in their city this week. On Saturday, we tackled their flower beds, in both their front and back yards. I’ve previously posted “before” photos on my blog. Tonight, I hope to tackle teaching my mom-in-law how to post pictures on her blog… where we’ll post the “after” photos. I also hope to tackle some dusting for her. I’ve re-discovered why we don’t have a cat since we got here last week. (allergies/fur sticking to EVERYTHING!) I’m also tackling the fun task of getting in touch with friends while we’re in town. That means dinner out tonight while Gramma babysits!

Well…my first every tackle it is NOT huge. But it needs tackling. So I thought I’d use the extra motivation of putting it here for all bloggersphere to see.

This is my first “tackle.” I’ve just been diagnosed with bad allergies and so am getting ready to get rid of as much dust and cat hair as I can – ha!

Looks like you are tackling a lot! Mine today is computer-related rather than house-related.

The give-aways sound like so much fun!

I am giving away a book tomorrow in a post with author Lynn Bowen Walker who wrote Queen of the Castle: 52 Weeks of Encouragement for the Uninspired, Domestically Challenged or Just Plain Tired Homemaker . Hope you can stop by for the interview and the book contest. 🙂

Sounds like your plate is overflowing, and you are tackling all you can. We all have weeks where one more thing would just be too much. (At least I do!) You shouldn’t feel bad about it one bit!
