5 Minutes for Books — Klutz Activity Books
The generosity of the Christmas Giveaway is extending here to the Books column. This is the second post today that features some great gift idea giveaways (you can find the first HERE). We also have a great DVD giveaway at the 5 Minutes for Books site this week.
I love the Klutz Activity Sets. For the last couple of years, they have been one of my go-to gifts for Amanda’s friends. There is something for every interest and ability level, from about age seven or eight on up.
Amanda and I tried out the Klutz Window Art. At ten, she was able to do the whole project with no help from me (with the added distraction of a four-year-old brother looking over her shoulder).

I am showing my youth a bit here but I grew up with Klutz books and loved them. My favorite was their travel book. It had numerous activities but inside the front cover was a picture of all the license plates for all 50 states. It had a spot to record your “sightings” of all the plates. I spent years trying to get them all as a kid and I think I’m still missing a few!
