Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppets – Easy Halloween Craft For Kids

Are you looking for an easy Halloween craft for kids? A friend of ours made these fun Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppets for us to share with you. Your kids will love making these paper plate Halloween crafts that they can play with and then use as Halloween decorations.

Supplies for these paper plate Halloween crafts:

  • 10 paper plates
  • 5 craft sticks
  • Paint / Markers/ Crayons
  • Glue stick (We use Elmer’s Craft Extra Strength)
  • Construction paper


Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppets Supplies

Halloween Stick Puppet Instructions

Each stick puppet uses two paper plates for stability. Place craft stick between the two plates and glue together. I tried this with Elmer’s School Glue and it worked but the Craft Glue Stick works much better!) Let dry before continuing.

FRANKENSTEIN

Paint top plate green. Add hair and bolts. Draw facial features. Add some scars for fun!

Frankenstein Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppet

MUMMY

Tear strips of construction paper to wrap the mummy. We used pink to make this a girl mummy. Draw or paint eyes and attach bow.

Miss Mummy Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppet

WITCH

Paint plate green. Make hair from strips of construction paper folded accordion style. Glue hair and hat to top plate. Add nose (fold nose in half to make dimensional). Finish by adding facial features.

PUMPKIN

Paint top plate orange. Add face and glue on stem.

Pumpkin Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppet

VAMPIRE

Paint plate a greyish color. Add hair and ears. Add facial features.
