With the low light, I didn’t have the chance to adjust my shutter speed when Olivia decided to take off full speed! “Why walk when I can run, Mom?”
Olivia is doing very well in the walking department. She can take about four timid, wobbly steps on her own. But I imagine before her birthday hits on September 28th, she will be running without the need of hands or toys. Watch out world – here she comes!

What a great photo 🙂 My little guy just took off full speed ahead this weekend. Last night my husband captured a video of him walking and saying “Go, go, go” as he moves!
Enjoy the time before she’s running full steam ahead.

Cascia says
That is great! Good to hear she is nearly walking already. All three of my kids were/are late walkers. My oldest didn’t walk until she was 13 months, my second, 14 months and my youngest is 13 1/2 mos and still isn’t walking yet. Sometimes I want him to start walking so I don’t have to carry him around anymore, and sometimes I am glad that he isn’t. He expects me to always carry him and I give in because he is my baby. It’s probably my fault that he isn’t walking yet. But that’s ok.
