Cook and Sing with Point of Grace!

Point of Grace is a group that has inspired me during many different eras of my life.  I can clearly remember a day in my pre-teen years where a song off of their first album comforted me in a time of pain.  And I’m not the only person that they are inspiring – they have sold over six million albums, and have had 27 #1 Singles.

Their newest CD, No Changin’ Us, is no exception.  The very first song, “He Holds Everything”, immediately calmed my heart over several anxieties I had brewing around.  The truths housed in their music are refreshing, uplifting, and a wonderful reminder of God’s all-encompassing grace and power in our lives, every day.

Besides the new CD, they also have released a cookbook titled Cooking With Grace. Not only does it have scores of recipes with mouth-watering pictures, but it has a story with each recipe.  The stories give a very honest and intimate look into the lives of the members of Point of Grace, their families, and other Artists, such as Amy Grant, that contributed to their cookbook.

  69. Point of Grace has been one of my favorite groups since I was about 10. Their songs were often the ones I would sing at Fine Arts Festivals and talent shows when I was teenager. Beautiful music with a beautiful message from very beautiful hearts.

  85. I have listened to POG since they began! Once in high school, I surprised my little sister (who is also a fan) with tickets for the two of us to a POG concert, and it was a memorable night for both of us. If I were to win this, I’ll be going to my sister’s apartment to cook together from this cookbook, I think 🙂

  125. HI! I came by to see your Wordless Wednesday, since Mimi told me to (LOL) and saw your Point of Grace entry. I went to college with Shelley and Deniece, way back in the late 80s. Very sweet girls. They were a year behind me but in the same “social club” (aka sororiety) as my roomie and best friend so they were around quite a bit. So glad to see you are a fan, too!
