That Stinks! – But the Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail by Munchkin doesn’t! – Giveaway

by Erica

I still have one child in diapers and I can’t wait until the day I can start to potty train him. He is a boy, and has that uncanny ability to produce some repulsive diapers.

There are times that I wish I had a diaper pail, because sometimes tossing the dirty diaper into a grocery bag before placing it in my trash, isn’t enough.

If you are in the market for a diaper pail. I have one to suggest to you, the ARM & HAMMER™ Diaper Pail by Munchkin.

Here is what Munchkin has to say about their Diaper Pail:

“At Munchkin, we always look for ways to make the lives of moms easier. ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda has been trusted for generations for odor control, so we incorporated it into our revolutionary diaper disposal system to help today’s moms maintain a nursery free of odors,” said Doug Gillespie, Munchkin Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

The ARM & HAMMER Diaper Pail neutralizes odors in the nursery through a patented odor control system with the power of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda at its core.

The results of an independent study were recently released that shows that moms prefer the ARM & HAMMER™ Diaper Pail 2 to 1 over the Diaper Genie® II by Playtex. Yes, moms rely on the power of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda to tackle those stinky diapers.

Earlier this month, Munchkin launched an online contest – “That Stinks! – But the Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail by Munchkin doesn’t!”, asking entrants to share a story of something “that stinks!” on their facebook page.

The contest, which runs from Oct. 1st – Dec. 1st, will provide the opportunity for one lucky mom to win a year’s worth of housecleaning sessions, because “Cleaning Stinks! – But the ARM & HAMMER Diaper Pail by Munchkin doesn’t!”

They will also hold weekly Facebook “Fresh Fridays” giveaways that ask moms to post a light-hearted tale on their weekly parenting trials and tribulations to their Facebook page. They’ll select the story that makes them think “that stinks!” and solve the entrant’s problem and provide them with a Diaper Pail.

As an example, if the winner is a mommy who received a parking ticket while dropping the kids at school, Munchkin will help pay for the ticket and send her a Diaper Pail.

I am sure you can come up with a story to share, and a year’s worth of housecleaning sessions as well as an ARM & HAMMER Diaper Pail by Munchkin is a fantastic prize.

But we aren’t going to stop there. We also have 5 ARM & HAMMER Diaper Pails by Munchkin to give away here at 5 Minutes for Mom. Just leave a comment below to enter. We will also allow you to leave an additional comment here if you leave a stinky story entry on Munchkin’s Facebook page.

This giveaway is open to US residents only and will close on Friday, November 5th. We will announce our winner on Saturday, November 6th. This giveaway is void where prohibited. Please see our site’s terms and conditions for more information. The ARM & HAMMER Diaper Pail by Munchkin retails for $27.99.

For holding this giveaway, we were provided with 5 ARM & HAMMER Diaper Pails by Munchkin to use as prizing. I will also receive a free housecleaning session from Merry Maids.

stinky story:
Went out to the park where we had to change my babies diaper. Changed it but there was no trash around so I wrapped it up in a bag to throw it out later. I forgot about it and later that day i kept on sniffing around because I thought I stepped in dog poo.

We have lots of “stinks” moments… like when the garage smells to high heavens after unmentionable grossness has been thrown into the trash and sits there until the next trash day. Thanks for the chance!

The first thought that comes to mind is when we went on a trip to Jersey Shore and came back a week later, realizing we forgot to take out the trash before we left! Tremendous amounts of dirty diapers sitting in the house for over a week is NOT fun to come home to!That stinks! Great Giveaway!
