Disney Travel Tips – 10 Days of Disney Video Tour

Disney Tips - 10 Days of Disney Videos

We’re celebrating the Magic of Disney!

For 10 days we released one video from our recent Disney trip.

Enjoy the magic of Disney in each of these video posts:

This July, Disney invited Janice and me to bring our families to shoot a series of videos at Disney World and on a Disney Cruise so that we could share with you the magic of Disney and help you plan your next Disney vacation.

We adore Disney and we can’t imagine a better place for a family vacation. We are honored to share our love of Disney here with you!

Disney Tips 1 Family Fun in the Magic Kingdom

Let the celebrating begin…

Here’s a video of us at the Magic Kingdom.

(In the video is Janice, her husband Phil, her children Jackson and Olivia, myself, my children Julia and Sophia and our mom, Joan. My husband sadly couldn’t get away from work and missed out on all the fun. Poor guy!)

After you watch the video, leave a comment telling us if you’ve ever been to Disney World or Disneyland and what your favorite attraction was and what your children liked the most. If you are still waiting to go, tell us what you and your kids are most looking forward to at Disney World.

And in the nature of full disclosure… Disney paid for our trip and produced these videos. But as you can imagine, they certainly didn’t need to pay us to love and gush about Disney… that just comes naturally. 🙂

    Honestly,
My wish would be an all expense paid trip for my family to any Disney Land Park. Its hard to say to your little ones, “Someday we will go there because daddy and mommy cannot afford it right now.” But it is kind of cute when you ask them, why do you want to go to Disney Land? There answer, “Because I do…with my balls and my ship.” Not sure why they exactly say that, but it is am answer.

  3. Donna Holmberg says:

The only ride I’ve ever been on there is the “It’s A Small World” ride, so I guess it’s my favorite.

  19. I love the Pirates of the Carribean ride the best!

  20. It has been SO long since I have been to Disney World. Really all I remember is the E.T. attraction and the parade. I cannot wait to take my kids. I figured out that if we wait until my oldest is 7, it would take $15 a week for the next five years. OMG! But, I know every second is worth it!

  21. My personal favourite is probably Space Mountain. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is pretty great too.

  22. When it comes to Disney World, I’m a 5 year old stuck in a 21 year old’s body…no joke. The first time I went to DW was when I was 12 or 13 and then again about a week before my 18th birthday. I didn’t care that I was almost an “adult”…I waited in every line that I could to get my picture taken with characters.

My favorite part were the fireworks at the end of the night. Sitting there watching the parade and then the fireworks makes you feel like a kid again, no matter how old you are. And seeing Tinkerbell fly down to the castle is the most magical thing ever. I’m hoping to visit again in a couple years with my friend and her two daughters…they will love it! I love seeing that look on a little kid’s face when they meet Mickey and/or Minnie for the first time.

  23. Shilo Beedy says:

I have been to Disney world and loved the soarin ride which was so much fun. All my family enjoyed the muppet show which was really neat to.

  24. We took our kids for the first time in July. Our favorite is It’s a small world.

  25. I went a few yrs ago for a conference and did not take my son. I’ve wanted to take my kids ever since. They ar 2 and 4 and I’m planning on waiting a few more yrs so they are a little older. I loved the peter pan ride and the castle was so pretty. I know they will enjoy it.

We stayed at the Polynesian which was an awesome hotel…very friendly hotel employees…we were able to stay for 10 days, and made it a super special trip for us all. We went to Disney World for her daughter’s Make-a-Wish Trip before her brain surgery. She doesn’t remember a lot of it due to short term memory loss after surgery but she did LOVE meeting the characters. When we go through photos she loves to see herself standing next to each of them and has their autographs too. It was a trip full of priceless moments and I sure wish we could go back one day soon.

I think I was more excited than she was.

We are taking our two children (almost-3 year old & 4 1/2 year old) to Disney World for their first trip in FOUR weeks!!! I’m so excited to see the parks through their eyes 🙂 I love the Epcot World Showcase and I also love Magic Kingdom (no specific ride — just walking through the park). Love Disney World!

  112. I went to Disney World when I was 9. My favorite attraction was It’s a Small world. Hopefully we will be taking our sons down there within the next 2 years and I can’t wait to see how much everything has changed. Please enter my name into the drawing.

  118. What an incredibly fun time you all had. I live in Southern California and go to Disneyland more than a few times a month. We are a huge Disney family. Every time someone’s birthday comes along we all meet at Disneyland. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, brothers, sisters cousins and sometimes a friend or two. Other times we go just because we absolutely love Disneyland. My husband and at times will do nothing but walk around and look at all the gorgeous gardens.
If we have the grandchildren with us we always have to ride the Carousel, Toy Story, Buzz Light-year and of course Small World and The Pirates of the Caribbean.
I have never been to Walt Disney World but I know I will someday. I have always wanted to go to Epcot in the spring and see the Flower & Garden Festival.
I also have to say that I see in your video that I like the Splash Mountain boats at Disney World better than the single row seat boat on Splash Mountain at Disneyland. Big Smile!!
We love Disneyland and I am proudly displaying your Disney button in our sidebar!!

  119. I went when I was 16 but my boys haven’t been yet – I think they would love all the characters that they could say hi too!! 🙂

  120. We just recently went to DL in June of 09. We took our 7 month old and our 2 year old. There was never a dull moment. From the Jungle cruise to the Carousel to the Dumbo ride. The little ones did super and looked adorable in their Micket ears. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

  121. we’ve been to WDW about 5 times and I and the kiddos love it. The boys love the rides and I love to meet the characters. I am a kid at heart lol.

  123. I have actually always loved watching the fireworks at the end of the night. I have been to disney world once (only to magic kingdom) and disney land 2x. I can’t wait to someday take my daughter.

  124. What a timely posting. I’ve never been to Disney, but we just booked our Florida vacation last night. We’re starting to plan a couple days at Disney and I’m really looking forward to what else you reveal!

  125. I love Disney World! My husband and I have been a couple of times before we had kids. My son is only 2, so I think we will wait a while before we go to Disney World since we are on the the west coast. We will probably go to Disney Land in California first. It was good to see some of the rides that even the younger kids can go on. My son is just starting to get into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so I think he would like the parade the most. I’m sure he would also love the carousel because he would get to ride a horse.

  126. Disney is a vaction that never lets us down:) Always a great time and the cast members always go above and beyond.Hard to give extra pointers on taking kids to Disney because they take care of it all!!!!!

  127. I’ve never been and I’m DYING to go. I think my favorite thing would be watching my little girl meet the princesses. I can only imagine the delight on her face.

  128. I worked at Walt Disney World for two years, 1988 to 1990. I loved being able to go into the parks on my time off and play to my heart’s content. My favorite attraction to visit is in EPCOT Center: The American Pavilion. You have to start out seeing the a capella singers (I’ve forgotten what they call that group), then move inside for the animatronic presentation. It’s amazing and inspiring.

  129. we visited Disney March 2009 and I especially loved the Dumbo ride and the Lion King Show was my fave show of all at the Animal Kingdom

  130. I have been to Disney World twice – once with my parents in 1992, and once with my husband and friends in 2003. My daughter, 29 months, has never been. I can’t wait to take her! I think she will love the castle…she likes to look at my pictures of it. I have a really cute picture of my friend and I with Chip & Dale – so much fun! thanks!

  131. Growing up in Florida, my husband and myself have been to Walt Disney World many, many times. We have taken our daughter there a few times now and our son went for his first Magical Kingdom trip back in February of this year!

The kids’ favorite ride is definitely Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin!

We are planning a trip next month for our daughter’s 6th birthday and we cannot wait to go! They will each get to experience Animal Kingdom for the first time and I am sure they will LOVE it!

  133. Never been yet but my neighbors went this spring and said it was awesome! Chloe loves Disney princesses and I am sure her biggest thing would be Cinderella and her castle!!

  134. I’ve never been but I would love for my children to be able to see all the Disney characters up close. They would love that.

  135. Felicia B. says:

Wow, looks like you guys had so much fun! We went a couple years back, when we just had one little one who was about 18 months and he LOVED the Disney characters. I think they were the highlight of the trip for him. My husband and I are just like kids again ourselves when we are there, we just love everything about Disney World! We were hoping to go again this year, but finances got in the way. Hoping to go again next year!!

  136. Christina Johnson says:

I visited Disney as a teenager, had a great time. I can’t begin to imagine how much MORE fun it would be to visit with my four little boys. Meeting the characters would be at the top of their list of things to do, I am sure!

  137. We went to Disneyland almost every year growing up. We’d camp out across the street in our camper and basically walk over to the entrance. I always loved the Teacups and Space Mountain! When I got older, it was Thunder Mountain Railroad. So fun!

  138. My husband and I LOVE Disneyland. We look forward to taking our 3 year old daughter with us. Also, we would really like to see Disney World the next time we go. As a mom, I am looking forward to the great meal plan deals. As a family, we are looking forward to the memories we will create!

  144. What a wonderful video! Looks like ya’ll had so much fun!

I would love to take my son since he’s never been there. I’ve only been once, when I was 15. I’m sure he’s be excited to ride the Dumbo ride!

  145. I have never been to Disney land or world. But think it would be fun to go someday when the kids aren’t all babies. 🙂

  146. I just subscribed to the newsletter 🙂

  147. I have not gotten to experience Disney World yet but I’m still trying to convince my husband that we HAVE to go! I just wanna meet Mickey 🙂 Oh and I’m sure the kids would love it too!!

  148. Kathy Stevenson says:

My favorite attraction is Twilight Tower of Terror!

  149. We went to Magic Kingdom this past summer. My two boys, ages 3 and 2, were “enchanted” by the Disney parade. They loved it! I also loved watching them meet Mickey and Minnie. Their faces were priceless and had the look of “do I really get to meet and hug MICKEY AND MINNIE MOUSE”!! Priceless moment!!! We loved it!!

Our favorite attraction at Disney World about 6 years ago was at the Animal Kingdom and it was the Festival of the Lion King. Great show! My daughter still talks about it.

  152. I love Disneyland! My favorite attraction is the California Screamin’ roller coaster at the Disney’s California Adventure Park.

    AWESOME GIVEAWAY, Ladies!

Can’t wait to one day (hopefully very soon) take the boys to WDW.

My favorite trip was with Brad in college. We were there sun up to sun down taking in the magic, young and in love.

  155. Mama Plays Mozart says:

I’ve never been to Disneyworld or Disneyland and I’ve always wanted to go. My daughter is only 10 months old, but I’m already saving up for a trip in 2011 (when she’s 3). I’ve got the Disney vacation planner DVD and I even have a notebook for ideas of what I want to do! My daughter has some medical issues so I’m praying that she will be well enough to go when she turns 3. She had surgery scheduled this past June and on the day she was admitted the Disney characters visiting all the sick kids. Mini Mouse and the Disney volunteers came right into our room, took polaroid pictures and gave my daughter her very own Mickey Mouse doll. We were both so excited! It was such a magical moment and I think Disney is such a wonderful company to have thought of this. Even if we never get to go to Disneyworld, we will always have the time that Disney came to us.

  156. i loved the peter pan ride…still my fave and i am almost 30 🙂

  157. Holly at Tropic of Mom says:

I love and gush about Disney World too! I live in Florida, and we go every year. This year, we’re going for a week at the time of my birthday. We can’t wait!

  158. I had the pleasure of going to Disney the first year that it opened! I was 15 and my mother, her best friend, my best friend and her younger brother loaded into a car and drove from La. to Fl. for vacation. It was one of the most memorable trips of my childhood. We loved every minute of Disney. We did all that we could in one day. I can’t say what my favorite thing was because it was all so surreal. I remember the hall of the presidents, the haunted house, the boat rides, the small world village and the Disney character PARADE!! I have always wanted to bring my children and now my grand children.

  159. Tweeted about the giveaway too! (littlewheaties)

  160. I’m 33 years old and never been to Disney. Can you believe it?
Growing up, we always lived far from FL and far from CA, and had a very low income, so it never happened.
I would love to go someday. If it were sometime soon, I think my daughter would LOVE meeting the princesses! (She is almost 3 and really loves princesses.) But I would love to go sometime when all the kids are older, a little more independent and would enjoy it and remember it! . . . someday 🙂

  161. We LOVE Disney~~ We used to go every year with our older son, but my youngest is still waiting for his next visit!! The thing is everytime we have gone I have thought that this was the best age to go for our kids. There is something for everyone at Disney!!

  162. Jen Shelton says:

Wow you guys look like you had a lot of fun. I have to say your video totally excited me. We are headed for our first family trip to Disney World in October. My kids are 5 & 7 and they can not wait…neither can Mom and Dad, lol.

This will be my first trip in more than 10 yrs. I know a lot has changed since then.

I’m going to add a Post to my Blog about your Giveaway.

    Thanks for the Great Video!

  163. I just went to Disneyland with some girlfriends this summer and my favorite ride was the Toy Story ride where you actually got to shoot the targets! That was cool.
I kept thinking I would have loved to have my son there, but he’s only 2… in a couple more years I am totally taking him and he will love all the characters!
    I’ve never been to Disneyworld.

  164. Stephanie says:

That video was AWESOME. Very well done. Who is your videographer?

Oh, and I love all things Disney. Such a magical brand. I read “How to Be Like Walt” by Pat Williams and Jim Denney several months ago…and loved it. Walt was brilliant – and he left such an amazing legacy.

Splash Mountain is probably my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom, but I also LOVE the parades and the shows. They’re so perfectly executed.

My family and I are actually going to DisneyLAND at the end of the month – and our almost-3-year-old is SO excited (as our we). I won’t be riding the teacups though. Those spinny-spinny rides make me sick. 😉

Looking forward to your “10 days.”

    – Stephanie

  165. I haven’t been to Disney yet, but we did look through on of their videos and I would love to just see the hotels. I saw so many that had fun characters all around.

  166. I want to try to get to go on a cruise soon.

  167. I’ve never been to either…I would love to ride Space Mountain!

  168. Yanci Gonzalez says:

We went in July of 2009 -My favorite experience in Disney was seeing my daughter Isabella’s face light up from meeting the disney fairies. This experience was so magical from seeing her favorite come from the small screen to reality. It was like her seeing her best friends for the first time in person. Her experience enabled her to express herself trust me watching your child use words to tell the fairies i love your shoes! to wow you blow bubbles and i love you tinkerbell. Was magical. Disney puts so much time in picking the right person to play these personas bringing their personalities to reality and ensuring that their experience was ever lasting in our childs minds.

  169. christy rose says:

We went to Disney in 2005. My favorite thing about it was the courteous employees. Each one of them made our trip delightful.
I would love to take my family on a Disney Cruise.

  170. i posted on my blog

  171. i’ve not been able to take my family to disney – maybe someday, it looks like it would be a dream vacation. and cinderella’s castle always looks so magical.

  172. The only time I have ever been to Disney World was when I was 2 yrs old. I was to young to remember anything. I hope to one day take the family there. I really want to see Magic Kingdom.

  173. How fun! Love the video..
Next time you come.. let me know.. I’d love to Disney with you.. we’re right around the corner 🙂

  174. Traci West says:

We went to DisneyWorld two years ago during the week after Thanksgiving. The Christmas decorations were up and it was lightly attended during that time, so we had very short waits for everything. Our favorite was Soaring at Epcot. It is truly a magical experience!

  175. My favorite Disney ride was Splash Mountain. Absolutely LOVED it!

    donnyandshelly (at) (yahoo) (dot) (com)

Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these gift bags!

  176. I have taken my oldest there & she loved meeting Winnie the Pooh.

  177. I’ve never been to Disney World, but that Splash Mountain looks like fun! 🙂

  178. We had a fabulous time at Disney World 2 years ago. Besides all of the rides and parades, the best part was that we could eat there without having to worry about my son’s food allergies. The chefs were marvelous!

  179. I tweeted! @fouragainsttwo

  180. Disney is my favorite place on Earth. Hubby and I loved taking our girls 4 years ago and we are planning another trip this January.
The best thing was lunch with Cinderella. It doesn’t get any better than that with girls!

  181. My first visit to the Magic Kingdom was in January 1972, 3 months after the park opened. I was 5 years old and that is when my love of Disney began. We all LOVE Splash Mountain and Peter Pan.

  182. My family and I absolutely love Disney! Now that I have kids, its even more fun than I ever remembered. Seeing it through there eyes, is better than I could imagine. My daughter is 5 and has been there twice. We just went this past January and had a wonderful time.

My favorite ride was Splash Mountain. It was just me and my 4 yr old at the time and we had an amazing ride. I couldn’t believe how adventerous she was.

My son is to young to ask what is favorite thing was but if you ask my daughter she would not be able to decide. But she loved meeting all the pricesses and having dinner with them. She also loved the fireworks and riding the monorail!

Can not wait to go back! Maybe the cruise next time!?

  183. I’ve been three times. My favorite Disney attraction is actually Epcot in general. I love it. I have to add that my husband (and boys) has/have never been. We’re planning a trip for a year or two from now. They’re answer as to what they’re most looking forward to is: BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!

  184. Deb - Mom of 3 Girls says:

I’ve been to Disney World three times – twice as a child and once on my honeymoon. 🙂 My favorite attractions changed over time – as a kid I loved the teacups and the Swiss Family Robinson tree house at the Magic Kingdom. On our honeymoon trip, I can’t really think of a specific favorite – I loved every moment of it!

We’re trying to save up so that we can hopefully take our 3 girls there in the next year or two – I know that they would absolutely love it. My older girls would be excited about meeting the princesses – and my youngest would be absolutely thrilled to see Mickey Mouse in person. 🙂

  185. 2Forgetful says:

I’ve been to both Disney World and Disneyland. I can’t wait to bring my girls to Disney World someday. My DH and I went to Disneyland when I was just 5 months pregnant with the girls. As we went through It’s a Small World, I couldn’t stop thinking about sharing the magic with our little boy or girl someday. My other favorite attractions are Pirates of the Carribean and the Tikki room. Hopefully it’ll just be a few more years before the girls are ready for Disney!

  186. Never been to D-World, but our favorites at D-Land are the Tower of Terror and Splash Mountain!

  187. I live in Orlando so it might be hard to believe that I have only been to Walt Disney World two or three times with my children. My son loves the Barn Stormer roller coaster that is in the Toon Town area. I think it’s because it was the first roller coaster he ever went on. My favorites are the Pirates of the Caribbean and It’s a Small World. My daughter, who is 2 1/2, will agree with me on the It’s a Small World choice.

I know my kids would love to win one of these gift packs. It sounds like there could be some great things to use as Christmas gifts. Thanks for the chance!

  188. We love Disney! We have gone to Disney World several times with family and it is our favorite place to vacation. The first time we went my youngest was only 16months and even he had a blast! We went again in Dec 2007 and took all 3 kiddos who were 6, 4, and 15 months. My older 2 loved the characters, though they scared my little one! My oldest is a roller coaster kid -he LOVED the Rock n Roll Coaster. My middle kiddo was crazy for Pirates of the Carribean, and my little one went nuts for the carousel. My husband and I loved watching the kids, hanging out by the pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge, shopping at Downtown Disney – I don’t think we had a favorite! We are trying to plan another trip for 2010, hopefully we’ll be able to save enough money to go 🙂

  189. We took our little girl 2 summers ago. Her favorite was going to see The Little Mermaid. It was a live show with puppets. SHE LOVED IT.

  190. We LOVE all things Disney, so it’s really hard to narrow it down to just one favorite thing. We were just there in January of this year and loved every minute of it.
I actually host the Destination Disney meme on my blog. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been “well-attended”. I wish more people would pick it up and participate. Disney is just SO FUN!

  191. The first time I went to DW, I was 12 years old. It was actually still fairly new. A few years later, my family moved to Florida. I ended up going to high school and college in northern Florida, and then moving to the Ft. Lauderdale area after graduation. I lost track of the number of times I went, but I haven’t been back since the early 90s.

I now have a 3-year-old daughter whose greatest desire is to visit DW and meet the princesses. We’re planning to take her when she’s five.

  192. Debra Mills says:

I’ve been to Disneyland once when I was a teenager (many moons ago) and I think the attraction I loved the best was Pirates of the Carribean. It was so innovative at that time and I loved the adventure of it!

My kids have never had the opportunity to go, with me being a single disabled mom – it just wasn’t something that would ever be in our budget. They look longingly at it, and it would be a fun vacation but not in the cards for us. It is too bad, as it is truly something all kids should be able to experience. Loved the video – brought back a lot of memories!

    Blessings,
    Debra

My husband and I went in May 2003 for our Honeymoon. I have many wonderful memories from when we went and I am lookig foward to taking m sons in a few years. One of my favorite things to see was the castle. Thanks for running this contest!

  194. Dezi Allen says:

I’ve never been to Disneyworld but can’t wait until I can go with my husband and 4 boys. I’m not even sure what all the attractions are, but since my boys still adore all things Toy Story, we’d probably have to see if they have a Buzz ride or something very first.

  195. I have never been to a Disney theme park but I would love to see the parade!

  196. Well my son and I have never been to Disney but would love to go. It is actual one of the things on my list of BIG To Do’s. I don’t know if we will ever get there but the dream is alive in our hearts. I know the one thing my son is looking forward to do one day is ride the monorail. What I look forward to is the time spent with my son having fun and just being a kid all over again.

  197. I have been to Disneyland. My favorite “ride” was the little It’s a Small World. Isn’t that silly? I was only in my early twenties and not a Mommy yet. I guess I was just a kid at heart and the puppets singing the song just stuck in my mind more than anything else!

  198. My husband and i went to Disney World for our honeymoon and we’re bringing our son in October. My favorite attraction is “It’s A Small World”. Thanks so much for the chance.

  199. I haven’t been since I was a kid, and back then I loved the “It’s a Small World” ride! We’re hoping to take our kids soon, I’m afraid they’ll love the same ride 😉

  200. I love Magic Kingdom and the driving the car ride. 🙂

  201. Angie (Losing It and Loving It) says:

    Shared it on Facebook (angienewton)

But the thumbnail and notification has nothing to do with Disney. The blog title shows up but the image is a Busy Body book and the note says something about Face to Face. Just an FYI!

  202. Angie (Losing It and Loving It) says:

What a great video! How fun!

My favorite park at Disney World is Hollywood Studios (I thought it was called MGM when did they change that?) Guess it’s been too long and we need to go back. Favorite ride is Tower of Terror!

Hubby and I are big kids at heart, no little ones at home but we have just as much fun. I would love to get back soon. And hey if Disney wants to send two big adult kids there to video our experience, by all means feel free to contact me!

Looking forward to watching all the videos.

  203. Jennifer McCullar says:

I want to take my 2 boys to Disney World, but just I’m holding off til they are a couple years older. I want them to remember the magic, oh, I want to see that Castle so beautiful, the rides look like so much fun, and yall look like you had a blast.

  204. I’ve never been to Disney World, but my husband has. I want to go just to take my kids. I know my son would love meeting all the characters!

  205. I definately want to take my children to Disney World and will someday. I always dreamed through that we would be able to travel with some of thier friends at the same time. Maybe thier grand parents. Disney World seems like such a special trip I couldn’y imagine not sharing it with loved ones.

  206. We’ve never been. We’re waiting for the kids to get a little bit older. I hear there’s a fireworks show at night in front of the castle that’s great. If this is indeed true, I think that’d be great.

  207. I grew up in Florida, just a few hours from Disney. We went once a year. I haven’t been able to take my kids yet. My Mom took my oldest, when she was 3. The one thing she talked about for a long time was kissing Mickey on the nose, lol.

I’ve always loved the teacups & the Haunted Mansion. I’m hoping we get to go sometime soon!

  208. We just took our son to Disney World for the first time last winter – I think he most liked getting to see the characters live and in person! My husband and I loved the Toy Story ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We can’t wait to go back again!

  209. Growing up on the West Coast, I’ve been to Disneyland dozens of times, but I’ve been to Disney World twice for business conventions there and love going to Hollywood Studios theme park.

We even went to Disneyland the week we were married. Now we’re looking forward to going back there with our little one to see it with brand new eyes!

  210. I can’t wait to take our boys to Disney World! I remember just loving everything about it as a kid. They’ll look forward to the Cars and Toy Story attractions, I’m sure.

  211. I’ve been visiting Disney World since it opened, but my favorite Disney Experience has to have been the first time I brought my daughter – then a toddler. She was totally memorized 🙂 Character Dining at the Crystal Palace has to have been her highlight; and a hug from Piglet was the icing on her cake.

We visited Disneyland in ’07 when we met her half-brother and his family. I think, for me, that is my most memorable Disney vacation.

I am hoping that one day we’ll manage one of the Disney Cruises.

  212. Shoot i forgot my twitter name is ChaosIsUs

  213. I just tweeted the giveaway!

  214. Loved watching your family have a blast. I have been to Disney World twice with my kids and 3 times as a kid myself and Hubby has now been twice. I have also been to Disney Land once. I personally prefer World over Land but that is just me.

My fave part has to be watching the kids go nuts. It is a place made just for them and their eyes are almost too small to take it all in. I think their favorite part was the Jungle tour. They had a blast on that ride.

  215. sara loud says:

  217. When we went to Disney, our girls were 5 and 7, and all they cared about was meeting the Princesses!! So, we made the rounds with our camera and autograph book and they were in heaven!

  218. what a great prize!
Our favorite thing in Disney had to be the carousel. My baby girl rode it over and over again for at least an hour. IT was so magical!!

  219. I went to Disney as a child, maybe when I was 8 or 9. My family is tentatively planning another trip for next year. I’m very excited to take my kiddo!

  220. Brandy Tamplain says:

I went to Disney with my mom and dad when I was about 6 years old. It was the summer that the Dixie Land Mafia had a hit out on my family for 50K each.

My father was a police officer that was a little too good at his job, and had stumbled into a case bigger than the department could handle. So the FBI packed us up and moved us to Florida where we had to get a new house, new school, new friends, new job and new names.

I thought that we were just going for a trip. So I was happy and then profoundly sad. I remember in disparing, heart wrenching detail the day my Mickey Mouse ballon finally deflated and I knew we were not going “home”.

I am not sure when I will take my two children (age 1 and 4) but the only roller coaster I will be on, will be an emmotional one. That is for sure.

You can see a picture at my blog:

  223. I have never been there but I do dream of it. I hope one day I can take my kids there. Seems like a magical place. I looked on the website and there are so many things I would like to do with my kids but to name one I would say the interactive theme park. I think that’s what it is called.

I used to work in the travel industry and have been to Disney World quite a few times and my expectations were always exceeded.

I also traveled there with my grandfather when I was little but was too small for Space Mountain so I went on Space Mountain 20 years later by myself on one of my work trips. When we were there with my grandfather who was in his 90’s, he was the biggest kid there but he cried when we rode It’s a Small World because he missed my Grandma who was not able to join us because she was in a nursing home.

My sister, my parents and I had always planned a trip to Disney World when we had kids and together we have a 4 year old, two 3 year olds and a 6 month old, regrettably we have lost both of our parents in the past few years so our dream trip to return to Disney World is not possible.

While it will not be the same, my sister and I are putting money away to take the kids and our hubbies to Disney World sometime in the next 3-5 years. We know our parents will be there with us in spirit.

From what I remember my favorite was the parade.

  228. Wakanda McClain says:

I have not been to Disney World but last year our family went on the Disney Cruise. I guess when we do get there I want to see Mickey and Minnie and all the shops and especially Main Street. My girls would love all the rides!

  229. Unfortunately, I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting any of the Disney theme parks yet but I’m really hoping to be able to take my kids one day. I’d love to see the Cindarella Castle at Magic Kingdom!
