A Sweet Children’s Book

Valentine’s Day is all about love, but it doesn’t always have to be a romantic love – especially when it comes to our children.
It is equally important to teach our kids about self-love and putting love out into the world through kindness and compassion.
I AM LOVE teaches the reader different expressions of love ranging from keeping their own “mind and body safe and healthy,†to showing kindness and living with gratitude to careful listening of others.
Cute Watch

This awesome Disney Mickey Mouse watch is designed to get kids reading analogue clocks.
We’ve learned from personal experience that it’s best to get your kids started wearing a watch when they’re young because when they get older they’ll just use their phones to see the time.
When kids are little, they’ll be excited to wear a wrist watch and learn to tell time. Give them a fun watch for Valentine’s and you’ll have them thrilled to practise telling time.
Photo Book

And this Love themed Photo Book from Mixbook is so perfect to give your kids for Valentine’s Day!
Making a photo book for your kids is such a great gift because you’ll all treasure it forever.
If you’re anything like us, you need a little push to get your photos off your hard drive and into your hands so that you can truly enjoy your family memories. Let a special occasion like Valentine’s Day kick you into action.
Check out this collection of photo books that are perfect for Valentine’s Day.
The Ultimate Kids’ Baking Book

The Ultimate Kids’ Baking Book: 60 Easy and Fun Dessert Recipes for Every Holiday, Birthday, Milestone and More
This is the second kids cookbook from our friend Tiffany Dahl and her daughters and it puts kids in charge of making dessert.
They’ll learn how to bake independently as this cookbook guides them through each important baking skill from separating eggs to creaming butter and sugar together and even rolling cookie dough.
Kinetic Sand

If you want to reduce the candy your kids get on Valentine’s Day, but you still want them to be super excited and have lots of fun, give them Kinetic Sand. They will play with it for hours!
It’s a fantastic sensory toy and lets them spend time playing creatively.
Recently we tested out four different types of play sand to see how they compared. Check out our Kinetic Sand comparison and to see what they’re all like.
Mindfulness for Kids

Mindfulness for Kids offers fun activities for kids ages 6-12 to stay cool, happy, and present with mindfulness.
Homework horrors, chores, and not-so-friendly friends―that’s enough to make any kid’s brain hurt. The secret to staying cool is easy: it’s called mindfulness―and this book gives kids fun activities to practice it on their own.
Personalized Poster Print

You’ll be surprised how easy it is to make a professional looking poster for your child’s wall. Simply pick out a photo that they love and hop over to the Mixbook website to transform it into a poster print.
What a beautiful way to display and enjoy your photos in your child’s bedroom.
You can create awesome posters for your sons or daughters of any age.
Cozy Slippers

Check out these adorable fluffy slippers.
They come in lots of different styles and colors for boys and girls.
I love giving my kids practical gifts on holidays… and cute, cozy slippers are always a hit.
Pink or red slippers are a fun Valentine’s Day gift for kids.
Phone Case

So if you’re looking for a gift your tween or teen will love, get them a cute new smartphone case. New phone cases are inexpensive and are a way to let your kids personalize their devices to suit their personalities.
There are so many different styles in phone cases, you can find something for everyone.
Phone cases are another practical Valentines gift for kids that won’t just add clutter to your house.
Bluetooth Speaker

This red bluetooth speaker is a fun gift for kids who love music.
It’s awesome for kids to have a rugged speaker they can take on the go to listen to music and audiobooks.
Since we love giving red colored gifts for Valentine’s day, you can turn a practical item like a speaker into a fitting Valentine’s Day gift when you get it in red or pink.
Educational Games

Kids will reach into this fun box to practice alphabet recognition and beginning letter sounds.
The fun treat themed game box makes this a perfect Valentine’s Day gift. It’s a great grab-and-go game!
Also, check out our list of classic board games to see if there are any your family doesn’t have yet. You can never have too many board games.
