Julia loves planting seeds and watching them grow. We may not have a big garden, but even a few little seeds in a pot can bring her such joy.
Janice took this photo while we were planting the seeds that Kashi sent us. Find out how you can get some free seeds from Kashi too.
10 Years Later…
This photo was taken 2 days before Julia turned 10 years old.
She is now 20 years old!!!
It’s hard to describe how quickly it seems that our kids grow up… all the cliche’s are true.
When Julia was young, she loved planting seeds and growing a few fruits and vegetables. As she got older, she got busy with school and other activities and she didn’t spend much time gardening.
But perhaps in this next decade of her life she will rediscover her love of growing fruits and vegetables.
Here are a few of our favorite gardening posts we shared over the past decade here at 5 Minutes for Mom…

I love gardening! I can’t wait to get my hands dirty. (Being in Maine, I tend to wait until after Memorial Day to plant.)
