Sometimes we just need a break from reality. We need a break from worrying about deadlines, meetings, and our daily lives. Although I can’t drop everything and go to the beach when I am stressed, I always look forward to going there in the summer. A BEACH CHAIR, the water, the sun and the sand is all I need to relax.
When I’ve got a lot on my mind and have a lot of things I need to do, I tend to think that they’re all that matters at the time. When I’m staring and gazing at the endless horizon of the ocean, I lose my train of thought and realize that my problems are not as bad as they seem to be.
For as long as I can remember, every summer I’ve traveled to the beach. The first thing I immediately want to do is walk on the beach. I’ve only been to the beach during the summertime, so the water has always been warm when I go. There is no greater feeling than when you first feel the waves and beach foam wrap around and rush beneath your feet.
There’s a quote that I love about the beach. It says, “You are one step closer to Heaven when you are at the beach,†and it really describes the way I look at the beach. It has made me realize how beautiful not only the beach is, but also nature all around the world. The world has so much to offer us and I hope to explore it throughout my life.
