Halloween in the blogosphere is such fun. All our blogging friends are sharing photos of so many adorable and oh-so-scary costumes.
Jackson and Julia both had great fun this Halloween.
Jackson dressed as Darth Vader for Halloween day at school.

And he dressed as a Knight for Trick or Treating.

Update: In these early days, we purchased Halloween costumes for our kids. They’d have fun choosing what they wanted to dress up as and then we’d find a costume they liked. It worked well and they always had fun. But later as I started doing crafts, DIY projects and sewing again for our blog, I decided to start sewing Halloween costumes for our girls. My mom had sewn handmade Halloween costumes for my siblings and me when we were young, and I wanted to carry that tradition forward.
In 2014, when our girls were ages 7 and 9, I sewed our girls these adorable black cat costumes for kids that ended up becoming one of our most popular DIY tutorials for years.
In 2015, I made these fun black bat costumes and these no-sew animal ears.

these outfits are so not last minute.
Your kids are so precious!
He scared me!
JK- very cute!
They are both too cute. Who could choose??
Susan, thank you for visiting my journal. I have spent a large part of this morning here at 5 Min. for Mom. Great site!!
My 4 year old was a fireman- since he is mine, I have to vote for him. 🙂

I hope that rocking horse is not part of Jackson’s costume. Might make it a little hard to go door-to-door! LOL!
They’re so adorable. I bet they got lots of candy!
Oh my gosh, they’re all adorable. I could just squish that little unicorn!
She is such an adorable Unicorn. Love the knight costume. Jackson makes a great Darth Vadar!Great costumes.
I love that the knight even has facial hair! Very unique costume. With all the cute kids, it is going to be so tough to vote!
