Even though I’ve take a first aid class, I’m still not confident I’d remain calm and remember all the steps to follow if a medical emergency happened in my home.
A couple of years ago I had a terrible scare when my then 2 year old Julia slipped under the water in a backyard kids pool while I was only inches away. Thankfully, although my head was turned and I hadn’t seen or heard her slip under the water, my older sister saw and called out and I was able to pull Julia from the water.
But what a scare!
So when the folks from Intelligent First Aidâ„¢ showed us their talking first aid kit and asked us to help spread the word, I was thrilled.

We’re working with Intelligent First Aidâ„¢ to provide helpful first aid information, a fun quiz and giveaways.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure I’d know what to do especially with CPR and the Heimlich. I take the classes every year, but they seem to change every time. Also, the directions I give to people over the phone as a 9-1-1 dispatcher are completely different than what I’ve been taught.
Great information. This will help!
I am looking forward to your review:-0
