And we can’t forget about us busy moms.

Racing around trying to get these kids to school on time calls for new runners, so I picked Nike Revolution 2. After I drop off the kids at school, I try to go for a power-walk or if I’m really motivated… hit the gym. (I’ll be trying hard to do the latter as often as possible this year.)

This Back to School season, Rack Room Shoes is raising funds for families in need through their annual Shoes That Fit campaign to provide new shoes to at-risk children to start the school year.

Rack Room Shoes makes it easy for shoppers to make a difference in their communities by allowing customers to donate to Shoes That Fit at the register upon check out in-store, or online.

Shoes that Fit - Rack Room Shoes

  • 100% of the donations will be distributed in the local area where the shoes were purchased.
  • Local school liaisons will identify children needing new footwear in the area and supply them with new shoes – so all of the donations benefit students right in your community.
  • To amplify the impact of customer donations, Rack Room Shoes has committed to match 100% of all donations raised, up to $300,000.
  • Every year, children head back to school with ill-fitting or damaged shoes because they don’t have any other option. Even worse, some children aren’t able to attend school because they have no shoes at all – this program combats that issue.
  • Over the last two years, Rack Room Shoes has donated more than $1 million to Shoes That Fit through the annual fundraiser.

    My boys like Fila and Nike shoes the best
    Fila Mem Marranello for my oldest and then Nike Kaishi Run for my middle boy and Asics Gel Excite for my youngest would be the styles they would like most.

  146. My short man has cerebral palsy so while he would want Sketchers Mega Blade instead he had to get Nike Mohan Mid2 Jr high tops to fit with his leg braces, but they’re very cool too.

  284. I think I know the ones the kid would go for, the Skechers “expect Miracles”. I am so sick of shoe makers not making WW widths. And majority of us just keep wearing the shoes anyway and we make podiatrists rich. phooey. I think these shoes look pretty good. the toe seems wide enough, IF the whole thing is wide enough.

  297. The Asics GT1000-4 we both actually have a very hard time finding shoes becuse of our long narrow feet. These provide a lot of stability control! Great to play hard and study hard
