I have on child in school, and she definitely seems to be more susceptible to illnesses during the school year.
I don’t have any kids, but I am a college student. Once winter comes around, I always get sick.

I have two teenagers, and they seem to get upper respiratory infections a lot during the school year.
We have more than one in school and there are more sniffles once school starts. We try to promote healthy eating, good hand washing and regular bed times. This also seems to help.

My stepdaughter will be a SENIOR this year! That makes me feel OLD as dirt! But to answer the question, no, she hardly ever gets sick. She must get it from her dad because neither does my husband.

While we do not have school age children at this time ~ I can say from first hand experience and without any hesitation the frequency of illness ALWAYS increases significantly when school is in session and even more so upon return after vacation of any duration.

I have 2 grandkids going to school. They always get more sick in the school year. They catch everything that’s going around, and bring it home, and share it, even with the 6 month old baby!
My only child is not old enough for school yet. This thermometer is so cool! I would love to win it for my sister who’s son starts preschool next month.
my one little girl goes off to school – i think she fakes sick more than shes really sick 🙂
I have 2 kids in school this year – they generally do not get sick more than once or twice a year.
I will have 3 in school when it starts next week and 1 in preschool in September. My preschooler is sick right now and this sure would be handy!
