Fall is my very favorite time of year. If my kids would let me get away with it, I’d skip Christmas decorating and keep the fall decor up all season long. These Fall Burlap Wreaths are super cute and they were easy to make too!
I love wreaths. Unfortunately, it is too windy where we live to hang wreaths on the front door. {Unless I want it to get battered beyond recognition that is.} Because of this, I like to hang small wreaths inside on our French doors since I can’t have a larger one outside. I looked to Pinterest for inspiration this year and of course I was not disappointed.  After browsing Pinterest for a while, I headed to the store for my supplies.
To make this fall burlap wreath:
All that is needed is two 10″ straw wreaths, a five yard roll of burlap, a few faux fall leaves, grosgrain ribbon, wooden letters, craft paint, and a hot glue gun.
First, you wrap the wreaths in the burlap. I didn’t take the plastic wrapping off the straw wreaths. By leaving it on, I didn’t end up with a mess of straw pieces all over the place. These are small wreaths so one roll of burlap covered both wreaths. Secure the burlap with a bit of hot glue.
Next, I painted the wooden letters and then I hot glued them to a length of ribbon.
Then I pulled the leaves off the stems and hot glued them onto the front of the wreaths.
Last I glued the lettered ribbons onto the wreaths and looped ribbon through to hang the wreaths from.
And there you have it. It took me about an hour total to get these made, and you could easily exchange the fall themed items for the holiday of your choice!

Very cute! I have burlap left over from a burlap table runner I made, so this craft would be a wonderful way to use up that burlap!
