5 Minutes for BooksEvery Monday There are so many great books released each month. In our 5 Minutes for Books column, we hope to showcase some of the best, as well as offer giveaway copies to one or more readers each week. We asked fellow blogger Jennifer Donovan to help us start a weekly column. Each Monday, she will post a review of a book of interest to moms or children. Janice and Susan will still review books on occasion as well. |
![]() Tackle It Tuesday Every Tuesday Are you looking for a bit of motivation, encouragement, and accountability in tackling your everyday chores at home? If yes, then Tackle It Tuesday is the column for you. You will find many before and after photos from our new resident tackler, Carolyn, as well as older ones from tacklers before her. Carolyn — also known as the Scrapping Servant — is very picture oriented, so you will find photos of things anywhere from a reorganized bookcase to a disgustingly dirty (but very vulnerable and real) refrigerator. She will also share tips on how she got her dirty things cleaned or organized in hope to help you all out a bit! Be sure to look for random giveaways on her blog as she encourages you to become that excellent housewife we all hope to be someday, you know the kind who’s children and husband rise up and call her blessed. (Proverbs 31: 10-29) Now that is something to strive for ladies, I hope you will join us in Tackle It Tuesday. |
