Julia had asked if I’d paint her fingernails for the first day of school (I usually only do her toenails), but we forgot and as she was laying in bed she remembered. The softy parent that I am, I let her get back up and we painted her nails quickly.
Mom Bloggers (and Dad Bloggers too!) post a photo on your site, link up and find others… Wordless Wednesday is tons of fun. (And I know it says “wordless” but I just can’t bear to not write anything! If I had created it, I probably would have named it something different! LOL So feel to link up your word-full or word-less Wednesday photos!)
Leave the URL to your photo (clearly mine are never truly “wordless”) and then visit others!
Here is a fun thumbnail linky:
And here is a basic linky if you prefer your linkies the good old fashioned way!
Thanks to Uisce for creating Wordless Wednesday.

OHMIGOD she’s getting so big!!!!!!!! I just can’t believe it!
Nail polish on the first day of anything is important!! She wears it well!!
I’m IN! Better late than never…. But I’m working on a big, huge learning curve having taken a part time job sitting in my home for two little ones. So, I’m just thrilled I got mine up at all 🙂
It’s all about Li’l E’s first day… rain or shine.

Thanks for hosting! Have a great week! 🙂
My goodness, she is fancy! My 4 year old would love to have her nails done, but other than that, she’d rather run around with her hair a mess, no shoes, and no shirt!!! She’s such a b***er!
So stylish! and cute 🙂
She sure is a cutie……ready for grade 1 🙂 Enjoy cause time flies by so fast!
Mommy on the Move
Have a great day

So cute! Look at how proud she is of the pretty nails!
Sounds like my daughter…she wanted painted nails this year, too, for first grade!
Cute! Did you use piggy paint?
Very cute. My MJ loves her nails painted but she has to do it herself and well her whole finger gets painted. Since it washes off the skin and stays on the nails let her do it. Then she likes to peel it off since I only let her use the cheap kid kind.
Special times she gets to have mommy’s nail polish that stays on longer.
Cool..painted nails. Are they allowed to go to school in that? Here painting of nails are not allowed for students.
Very very pretty pink nails. Love the whole outfit and that smile 🙂
Awww She looks like she’s ALL set. I love the bright colors in her outfit.
Her smile says it all! And the softy in me would have let her get back up to paint them, too. 😉
Painted nails are essential for the first day of first grade:-)
and the prettiest nails too.. look how proud she is .
so much fun
How sweet! Beautiful girl 🙂
Look at how proud she is to show off her fingernails!! She is getting so big!! WOW!
that is so funny. I painted my new first grader’s nails for the first day of school, too. 🙂
Nothing like pink painted nails to get first grade off to an awesome start. Love her color coordinated look.
And she looks incredibly happy! Hope she had a wonderful first day!
Adorable color! And she’s all matchy-matchy 🙂
I love how her nails match her shirt and her head band! Adorable!!
She is precious! So wish my sweet girl could wear nial polish to school 🙂 But, alas…..
I think it’s sweet that you got back up and did that! You’re a good mama (and she looks like one happy first grader!)
