Being a 45 year old mother of 2 teens, I need a vacation! I would love to take my girlfriend as a surprise. SHe is having a very difficult year and could really use it. I am in school getting my masters in reading, and work as a Literacy Resource Consultant in an elementary school (19 years), so I could use it too!
The first thing we would do it change into a beautiful sundress. After that we would probably so to the Barracuda Beach Bar! After showering and getting dolled up, we would do what we do best, and dance all night long at Desires!

After thst it is on to the accommodation s. Free wifi, an app to help you make your stay easier. Then it is timr for the spa. Start with a seaweed wrap then a facial, stone massage, and end with a hair treatment. Dinner and drinks overlooking the ocean. To be able to share it with my best friend would make it complete.

Well to start off, I’m a single mother of five – yes, FIVE – children. And I receive zero child support. My ex-husband evidently did NOT read the fine print of our marriage contract stating that he should, you know, stop seeing other women post-vows. Stinkin’ fine print. It’ll get ya every time.
So what would my best friend and I do at a girl’s getaway at this fabulous resort?! NOTHING. Blissfully nothing. We would lay on the beach and dream of things unrelated to the school science fair. We would sip too many fruity, frothy cocktails and not worry about which one of the children is probably drowning in the pool. We would EAT A WARM MEAL for once. We would gain ten pounds at Portofino alone, and not care a single bit. My bestie and I would have a ‘Relaxing Moon and Stars Massage’ – and we’d sob with the exquisite euphoria of it all. SOB, you guys. We would be the life of the party at all resort theme parties. You think you lived it up in your sorority days? You’ve never seen a partier until you’ve seen a mom on her first ‘kid-free’ break in FIVE FREAKING YEARS. Until you’ve seen a mom who finally – exhiliratingly – gets a few days to remember who SHE is, and why SHE still kicks ass. This mom and her best friend would ROCK that getaway, and we’d be better mothers for it.

I went to a Secrets resort this past summer and the food was fantastic. So I would spend this trip eating as much as possible and then getting massages.
My husband and I stayed at the Secrets Capri for our honeymoon 8 years ago. It was AMAZING! I would love to treat my BFF to a trip at this new, beautiful resort! We would indulge with some of their amazing spa treatments like the “C” and Sea Facial or the Seaweed Wrap!

As a blogger and 3rd grade teacher I would take my sister (maybe my hubby) and we’d relax. I’d read all the books I’ve been dying to read. I’d have a nice cold drink and my toes in the hot sand. I’d get a massage and a facial and eat yummy fresh fruit and sleep. Oh it would be amazing beyond words! I think just closing my eyes on the beach or at the pool and soaking in the sun would be magnificent. We have 140 inches of snow here and I’m dying for warmth.
