How To Recycle A Coffee Pod
It’s simple to recycle NABOB pods.
After you brew your coffee, let the pod cool and
- Locate the raised symbol on the side of the pod and push the tab directly above.
- Peel filter away from pod and discard.
- Place empty outer pod with your other recyclables, where #6 plastics are accepted.

You may notice that NABOB pods have the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal. So you can be confident that it meets environmental, social, and economic sustainability standards.

We purchased a box of 30 nabob pods ( 292 g) and were surprised to see the pods did not have a label on the top.
Was this done intentionally and if so for what reason?

Is the ENTIRE pod recyclable? It says to “discard” the filter – does that mean garbage or can it be composted? What about the lid/seal on top?

I’m a huge fan of Nabob, I buy their Full Dark City for my French Press, such a great cup of java, I love it. I also use coffee pods for my cappuccino machine and I love that they are recyclable.
Interesting! We don’t drink coffee, so don’t really have a need for the machine, but we’ve loved using them for hot chocolate when we get the chance at hotels! 😉
