Wordless Wednesday — Meeting Winnie the Pooh

Meeting Winnie the Pooh - Olivia
Olivia meeting Winnie the Pooh

Olivia meets Winnie the Pooh at Walt Disney World.

Thanks to Walt Disney World for including 5 Minutes for Mom on the media trip forThe Disney Dream. Disney provided park passes and covered my expenses, (I covered my family’s,) but my opinions – and my love for Disney – is all my own!

Mom Bloggers (and Dad Bloggers too!) post a photo on your site, link up and find others… Wordless Wednesday is tons of fun. (And I know it says “wordless” but I just can’t bear to not write anything! If I had created it, I probably would have named it something different! LOL)

Here is a fun thumbnail linky…

But if you prefer the old style, you can use this linky:

Thanks to Uisce for creating Wordless Wednesday.

Did you know that Susan and I own two online toy stores where you can find adorable toys like a pedal car or a cute rocking horse.

  2. Oh my goodness, it’s been so long since we’ve been there. It’s been 7yrs this year. I can hardly believe it. I loved eating with the Pooh characters. We had such a great time! She looks adorable in her outfit, too!

  3. Awww…so adorable!!! I love her Cinderella dress. Reminds me of the first time we took our kids to Disney, but my little girl would not go near Pooh. haha 🙂

  4. Argh! So cute… makes me even more depressed that we got booted from Disney SM Moms this year. Sniffle, sniffle.

  5. Awww. She is so adorable.

  6. Awwww! Isn’t she ever cute and brave! Most kids are deathly afraid of those! Even if it is Pooh. Great candid shot. I love it!

  15. There is nothing better than a child’s first trip to Disney World and meeting the characters up close and personal. I’ll never forget when my children layed eyes on the castle for the first time.

  33. Love Winnie the Pooh and friends. In March we have reservations at the Crystal Palace for breakfast before the park opens. Can not wait to see how the kids like it. We celebrated my little guy’s 2nd birthday there 2 years ago and it was a but overwhelming for him.

L isn’t really familiar with Disneyland or Mickey, I wonder how he would react to it. Would love to go with him one day.

  40. Awww, so sweet. How I would have loved to have met Winnie the Pooh at her age, but my parents weren’t the Disney types! My girls love going to Ariel’s Grotto at Disneyland and meeting all the princesses.

  41. It’s funny because I saw my kiddos go from loving Winnie the Pooh to now just being like whatevs. Her age is so perfect, so magical. What a wonderful day that must have been, and you captured it beautifully!

  42. Tarasview says:

LOVE IT!! I’m so glad you guys got to do that trip- what a wonderful way to spend time with your family eh? 🙂

  43. Lucky! Slightly envious of her 🙂 How fun!

  44. I have a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh in my heart… my daughter’s nursery was decorated in Pooh decor… 🙂

    1. ME too! We have Winnie and his friends playing hockey in a mural on Olivia’s wall. (It was Jackson’s room, and I just can’t bear to paint over Winnie! My friend did such a fabulous job with the mural! So even though I want princess theme or ballet theme for Liv, Winnie in his Habs jersey is still there!)

  45. Awe – that is sooo sweet!
I really hope we can take the kids to Disney soon, I so want to see my girls’ eyes sparkle to see such characters.
…Maybe it’s because we have been stuck in this house all winter and I’m getting so sick of taking pics of my kids indoors. It’s getting so old and boring!
I think of this because the colors are so vivid and bright – so much life!

    Have a great week, Janice!

    1. I know! I haven’t taken any pics of my kids since we got back!! Just grey rainy days. Hence the last four weeks have been Disney pics! LOL I am wishing we were still there!

      1. Great idea though – I need to dig out the summer pics. Maybe posting those instead will brighten things.
I have NOT ONE photo of my kids outdoors since October…ha!
        *blush*

  46. What a great meeting and an exciting day for her!

  52. What a great capture, a definite keeper picture for sure.

  53. How adorable! That smile is wonderful!

  54. Jacqueline says:

Aww, what a tender moment that was for her! She almost looks bashful in the pic and I bet she felt like a princess in her beautiful dress! 🙂

    1. I had the sentence, “Bashfully, Olivia meets Winnie the Pooh.” But then I took out bashfully, lol. But maybe I should have kept it in. 🙂
