I’ve had a couple of weeks now to accept that my first baby has turned four years old!
It simultaneously breaks my heart and makes me beam with happiness.
I had begged the Lord for this baby. For my Julia. I had picked out her name and dreamt of her for years and I wept when I thought that she would never be.
But after 3 and a half years of tears and pleading with the Lord to let me be the mother of my precious Julia, I discovered He’d answered my prayers.
The Lord gave me the baby daughter of my dreams. And 2 and a half years later, He gave her a baby sister. I thank Him constantly and I love my girls more than I can begin to explain. I am beyond blessed and beyond thankful.
Julia turned four earlier this month and we had a wonderful time celebrating. On her actual birthday, her best friend Madison and her cousins Jackson and Olivia came over for a little pizza party. Then on Saturday she had a dozen of her friends and cousins party with her at a gym.

My youngest is 4 today. I too am sad and happy at the same time. It is hard to realize my BABY isn’t a BABy anymore

I have a much more emotional time with my older daughter’s birthdays than my younger.
Awww, what is amazing is that 4 seems so long ago. My daughter Julianna just turned 6 on May 16th and it is really scary that I cannot remember when she was 4 all that clearly. I know that now she is so different, she has really matured in 2 years. She is still stubborn as anything, but she has definitely grown a lot.
I am glad that you were able to get pregnant after trying year after year and were able to have another child after that. I always feel for woman who cannot get pregnant, in all honesty some time I do not understand why it works the way it does, with women that can have kids and they do not take care of them, and others not being able to have children, I guess I have to face the fact that it is not for me to understand.
