Flash Mob at BlogHer 2011

BlogHer’s first ever Flash Mob took over the lunch hall at the San Diego Convention Center rocking with finely timed steps to Lady Gaga’s Edge Of Glory.

This fabulous flash mob, code named Operation Glory, was secretly arranged and choreographed by Mary from The Mama Mary Show and Theresa from Rock On Mommies.

Don’t worry if you missed it, I caught it all on video. Check it out…

What About You?

So tell us, have you even seen a flash mob or better yet BEEN in a flash mob?

I think this may have been the first one I’ve ever seen in person. Janice was lucky enough to be at Blissdom for the first ever Blog Conference Flash Mob and I am hoping this trend continues because they are such fun to watch. And no, neither Janice nor I have ever been in a flash mob… maybe one day.

  2. This is so awesome. Have not been in a flash mob yet, but hope to soon. I thinking breaking out in random synchronized song and dance like musicals + movies should happen more in real life. Just sayin…

I’ve seen a few of these on you tube videos. I absolutely love it when people get together to do something spontaneous and fun. It reminds us that life is beautiful and joyful.

  12. Hi Susan! I’ve never seen a flashmob, but I have participated in two!! I was in the Blissdom one in January, and in this one at BlogHer as well. It’s amazing to be a part of a flashmob, if you ever get the opportunity, don’t pass it up!! Spontaneous eruptions of joy.. for the dancers as well as the crowd. Reason to smile. 🙂

  13. Love!! Teresa’s a doll! Being a longtime former cheerleader and dancer I’d have a blast doing one if these! Never been in one!

I’m a Flash mob junkie, love them!! This one was great, what a hoot!

    1. Tiany, do you mean you’ve been in them before? How many?

      1. Tiany ~ Social Savvy Mom says:

Only one (below) but I love watching them and I will do more for sure!! We have them here in New Orleans and Baton Rouge a few times a year! Nothing like a flash mob to bring out impulsive JOY! We have a Facebook page for flash mobs in both cities and some great Youtube videos of some of the local ones.

This was last year downtown Baton Rouge, LA … http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4hlAioT284&feature=related
