It is just after midnight. I am sitting on my couch, sorting through photos of my costumed kids, drinking a glass of wine and eating miniature candy bars. I think parents love Halloween almost as much as kids do.
Yes, there are two things most of us parents do every Halloween — we eat WAY too much candy and we take photos of our kids, (as they beg us to hurry up so they can get back to candy hoarding.)

A Little Update:
While the witch costumes are kids were wearing for Halloween 2013 were purchased, we soon realized how much fun it is to make their costumes ourselves.
For the rest of their trick-or-treating years, we sewed their Halloween costumes based on their ideas for how they wanted to dress up each year.
