Fall Crafts for Kids

The many colors of Fall are the perfect inspiration for kids crafts. 

As the weather cools off and you spend more time indoors, it’s a wonderful time for extra family activities like doing fun fall crafts to with your children.

Here are some fabulous ideas we’ve collected for making the most of this season with your kids.

1. Pumpkin Spice Play Dough

Every child loves mashing up a ball of play dough.  Here, Jen shares a play dough recipe that looks good enough to eat (and hey, if your kids do eat it, it’s all healthy!).  Do the craft!

2. Stained Glass Leaves Craft

This craft is easy to do, not messy (no glue!) and looks gorgeous when you are done.  Do the craft!

3. Fall Reflections

Betsy used tempera paint in fall colours to do this cool craft with her children.  Do the craft!

4. Apple Stamping

Jen used paint and apples to do a cool craft with her daughter.  As she suggests, this could be a great way to create some gift wrap for those autumn birthdays in your family!  Do the craft!

5. Pretzel Tree

This craft can double as snack time and is easy to do—all you need is glue, tissue paper, and some pretzels!  Do the craft!

 

6. Fall Fine Motor Skills

Lalymom uses a fall theme to help her son develop fine motor skills.  Check out her ideas for cutting, punching and pasting leaves, apples, pumpkins and more.  Do the craft!
