I adore this photograph!
That is awesome!! Looks like my weekends
And we’re not even Canadian
He looks thrilled
Love the little one leaning there against dad while big brother gets laced up. Great shot!
I have NEVER seen a hockey game. I’ve also never been on ice skates. I’m afraid I might break my neck. *LOL*
Happy WW!
LOL, love Jackson’s expression, and how Olivia’s much more interested in that ring pop. Great photo!

Love it! Makes me long for the days that I went to NHL training camp and had season tickets for our local hockey team.
Ah yes! Putting on ice skates and lacing them up is quite a feat!
Janice,
Does Phil lace up the shoes of all of his players
?
That is so sweet! I love the look on your son’s face….just waiting for it to be done.
I could tell from your accent in Say it Face to Face that you were from somewhere up north…Canada makes perfect sense!
Happy WW!
Janice,
Does Phil lace up the shoes for all of his players)?
Fun, I love hockey… we should move.
I love Olivia’s little pose!
Hooray for Dad’s! That’s a great photo!
I love the colors! And how both kids are just chillin while Dad is on a mission… Great Capture Janice!
I used to love hockey! What a fun pic!
I’ve seen sights like that around here, too. Hockey has quite a few loyal families.
What a great shot! How fun
Great shot! I didn’t learn to ice skate till I was in my teens.
Awww so much fun!!! My son plays football… he would probably LOVE hockey – he’s so ROUGH haha
How fun! We are huge hockey fans (well on TV). It sounds like a blast though!
Oh how fun! That is a great shot!
Janice,
Does Phil lace up the shoes for all of his players
? Let’s hope they always lean on their father.

Capturing a moment. I love how relaxed they are and how daddy is involve with it all.
I think all us Canadians can relate to that!
**proud smile**
LMAO
lol! Hockey to y’all is seriously like a religion. **grin** Great picture.
Love how Jackson is just kind-of sitting there…lol
How fun that he is following in his dad’s footsteps..er…skates
That picture really says a lot. Great shot!

Very cool. I’d love to take my kids ice skating.
Great looking family..My daughter loves ice staking, my boyfriend Loves hockey.
My WW link for you
Beside wanting to be “Kid Canada” on CBC, this is the other reason I’m sure my son would beg to be Canadian. He’s almost 3 and wants blue ice skates and a hockey stick. He asks for them daily. LOL
Love the before the game moment you captured.
Yay for hockey! We just enrolled our 4 year old this winter and he loves it!
What fun! I haven’t done ice skating in for-ever!
That looks like fun! Can you believe that I have never been ice skating! I am sure my kids would love it!
Looks fun (although I’ve never got the hang of ice skating). Love your little girl’s outfit – she looks so cute leaning there.
How neat to have dad as his coach! I love watching hockey.
I have yet to take my kids skating. Not a very good Northerner am I?
I love how Olivia’s having a sucker.
That is so cool! Hockey is one of my favorite sports!
great picture of dad lacing up the skates
Hockey. Nice. Sounds like fun.
Happy WW!
That must be so much fun to watch!!
I’m sooooo late this a.m! We had a two hour delay and are all moving out of synch. But the sleeping in felt delightful
My cousins always played hockey and I found it interesting how they could be so brutal on the ice but off it they were big teddy bears . . . Looks like your hubby might be the same

All except the shorts! lol..well at least in Saskatchewan we are not wearing shorts.
This pic goes with my Tackle yesterday.
What a great moment! I have a photo of my kids with their dad up for WW too. Have a wonderful day!
omg, olivia totally makes this picture!

What a great photo of a hands-on dad. You’ve gotta love that!

By the way, I love your blog and enjoy following you on Twitter.
That’s an awesome picture! LOL
♥ Happy Wednesday! ♥
Love how both kids just look bored and casual. Tells you that this is a super involved dad and his helping is an ordinary event. Awesome!
What a great photo!! I wish that we had an ice skating rink close!! My boys would love it I think!
That’s perfect, isn’t it?
That is really cute! Love how Olivia is completely oblivious because she has her treat! So cute!
It is a great shot, though! Looks like a fun day!
Love it. My 6 year old son plays hockey too but we live in Dallas so it’s not nearly as popular as say football.
What a great candid shot!!
That looks like it would be a blast to watch. I am good on roller skates, but ice skates are a different kind of animal!
That’s an unfamiliar scene to me–except for the ring pops at sporting events, those we have!
I used to LOVE going ice skating with my friends when I was younger! It was always so much fun
Yeah for Canada and promoting hockey and sport to keep our children active!!
Great Picture
How sweet that pic is.
BTW- I have something (award) for you on my blog, because I appreciate your contributions to the world of mom blogs. Come check it out, and claim your sunshine.
yep, definitely a classic Canadian picture
I like that photo. Olivia looks like she doesn’t give one ounce of trouble.
Appropriately distracted with a lollipop. How was the game?
awww sweet! priceless moment!
oh iceskates…how the use of you eludes me.
I LOVE wordless wednesday!!! I added my link to mr linkey thing- i have had very few visitors to day. Sad!!!
I love the pic- my 2 year old has the same flowery sweater.
looks like fun!!!
I’ve seen Wordless Wednesday around and I did it today. Another blogger saw it and asked me who owns it and if there is a button. I tracked you down through He & Me & 3. I came up with a button. Below is the code. You’re welcome to use it. It does link to our blog.
the code does not print here?????????
I could probably e mail it to you.
I don’t see your e mail here, though.
Cool for daddy… Olivia is more interested in the lollipop than the ice skating.
Is it a requirement in Canada for boys to know how to play hockey??? Just asking…
Great photo, I love family time!
What a great Dad.
Brings back some great memories of my own Canadian childhood.
Ha!!! That’s awesome!! My Canadian hubby would LOVE to be doing the same thing…in fact, he just dug out his skates from the attic!!

What a wonderful moment to capture. I love that all three of them are unaware of the camera. Jackson looks so focused and serious…and Olivia looks the opposite – laid-back with her lollipop!
