What an awesome close-up picture!
Kind of bittersweet!
My husband just took a photo of one on the tree at the base. I’m posting it for my WW tomorrow if you care to look 🙂 It’s a very beautiful photo!
oh no that is so sad. i hope more come.
Im a little late with my WW rounds. Hope you can still visit me at my Mummy Diaries blog. Thanks 🙂
I love it! 🙂
Sad! Cool picture though.
wonderful photo, love the bokeh in the background.
Beautiful!!
Nice shot. It does look a little lonely all by itself.
Kinda makes you sad! Great photo though!
What a beautiful, crisp shot! I LOVE spring!
Happy WW!
nice picture
Beautiful pic!
I love magnolia’s but it makes me sad how they leave so quickly…just a good rain will wipe them all from the tree. I wish I could enjoy them longer!
Mindy
I love magnolia trees. They are so beautiful.
I agree… It is a sad but beautiful picture.
I love Magnolias.
We used to get two bloomings out of our magnolia tree some summers. The smell is amazing!
My WW today is from a “last” of spring also . . .

Great picture. I wish we could grow magnolias here. But, alas, Minnesota just doesn’t allow it. Too cold, I guess!
how pretty!
I wish they lasted longer! They are so pretty!
Reminds me of the book, The Little Yellow Leaf.
Gorgeous view of a lonely flower. Love how it stands out perfectly to show itself off.
I love magnolia trees!!
Wonderful photo, I have ~ It’s always junk mail!
So sad and sweet but it’s hanging on. Enjoy the rest of your week.
I hate to see something so beautiful leave, but it leaves hope it will return with more beauty.
And way up north, we’re just seeing our first real blooms (not magnolias, of course!).
beautiful photo
I like that picture!! It says so much with that one petal ……
That seems almost sad. But, with the last magnolia comes the first peon and that says summer to me!!
THIS IS MY FIRST WORDLESS WEDNESDAY AND I HOPE I DID IT RIGHT!!
LOVE FROMA CALIFORNIA MOMMA,

Why…WHY? Oh why is it the last magnolia? Say it isn’t so? Oh the humanity! 😉

What a neat pic- made me a little sad to see that lonely leaf. I’d love to have a magnolia or a dogwood tree in my front yard. I keep hinting to my husband. 🙂
