This is one of my favorite pictures of my Mom growing up. She is playing with her Dad’s socks. Adorable isn’t she?

That’s a great one! I’ve got most of my family’s old photos…my favorite of my mom has her circa 1918 on a very fat pinto pony.
Thanks so much for your visit and kind complements. I am quite honored. I know how hard it is as one’s blog gets bigger to keep up with everyone, so I appreciate your kindness in coming to the SMB.
I seem to have a growing fan base with the Mommy bloggers, which sort of surprised me given that I’m a middle-aged childless lesbian goat farmer. But the kids enjoy looking at the animals on the farm, and the mommies get a little reading in and my Food Porn Friday articles have some good, if not entirely healthy recipes.
So, thanks so much for your visit and I will indeed blogroll you and return for a visit now and again.
Absolutely wonderful. I love old photos…and this one is precious!

I have to agree with those above . . . I love to look at those old B/W photos. I love looking at the clothes, the hair, the shoes . . .everything . . .and “little” jon’s too! 🙂
