Camera Fickle Julia Decides to Smile…
Getting shots of Susan’s oldest daughter Julia has never been easy. She has a mind of her own! But a few weeks ago, I had my camera at the playground with her and my son Jackson. Julia kept asking me to take her photo and posing for me! It was fabulous — I wish she were always so fond of modeling for me.
Post a photo on your site, link up and find others… Wordless Wednesday is tons of fun. (And I know it says “wordless” but I just can’t bear to not write anything! If I had created it, I probably would have named it something different! LOL)
Here is a fun thumbnail linky…
But if you prefer the old style, you can use this linky:
Thanks to Uisce for creating Wordless Wednesday.

Did you know that Susan and I own two online toy stores where you can find unique toys for Christmas like a pedal car or an inspiring toy kitchen. You know, in case Santa needs any ideas!

She is BEAUTIFUL (just like her mama!).
She looks a lot like you! My Trinity is not there yet.
I love this photo of my Julia because she loves to have her hair messy… this is so her!!!
I love that photo, she looks so beautiful!
I remember trying to get my teen boys trying to smile when I took photos.
Great picture! I love when the kids actually want to get photographed.
Thank you for the link up. I am so glad she let you take a picture of her. She looks like she is having fun on the Jungle Gym and it is a really nice picture.
What a doll! Looks a bit like her momma.
I have a reluctant model too…but sometimes she will just let loose and be a real poser for me. That’s when the real clown inside her shows through.
Congratulations on the capture Janice!
Oh, she’s GORGEOUS! What a beautiful shot!
I love that casual smile- just beautiful!
What a great photo of her beautiful face! I love the bokeh, too. Happy Wordless Wednesday!
Such a sweet, innocent smile!
Happy Wednesday everyone!
This is a photo from last spring when the poppies were in season in AZ.

Ah! She is a delight1 God bless you all!
Isn’t it great when they let you take their picture?! My two turn their heads most of the time they see the camera… so frustrating!
Well she sure is a cutie! She’d be a great model for sure 🙂
Love all the crazy hair – she looks artfully windblown 🙂
I got some happy cheesey smiles from some of my favorite guys this week . . .
Come check it out!

So hard to capture those smiles:)
Awww she is just beautiful. What a gorgeous photo.
I know what you mean; it’s rare that I can get my son to pose for a shot or let me take a serious picture without him sticking out his tongue or making a goofy face!
That is a great shot…so cute 🙂 Thanks for hosting WW!
She is so pretty!! I posted a couple of beauties of my own this week:

She’s a beautiful girl! I bet her mom was happy to see this picture.
Adorbale, happy Wednesday!
Love the moment you captured. My oldest is 7 now and getting to be less willing to pose for me with the camera. I miss my ham who was always willing to help me out.
I love those moments with my kids! Granted, they don’t happen very often….I love that picture of Julia. So natural and happy.
What a cutie- she’s getting so big! 😉 Happy WW!
aww, just camera shy… she has a beautiful smile & a sweet face 🙂
she has such a soft, sweet smile! love it!!
Love those moments. They are rare around here these days. Happy WW! Thanks for always being such gracious hosts.
What a pretty picture. Perfect shot.
I have a four year old who is still in the “no picture” phase. My older two are a little more agreeable. The posing may never stop now, but at least all of the snapshots will make for great memories.
I love her “I’ve been playing” hair! It’s so great when they start liking their picture being takine!
Julia’s smile is infectious. By the by, I wish I had your photography skills…
Beautiful shot, love the colors, so fall, yet so girly.
How cool that she finally posed for you! That is a really adorable picture 🙂
My girls do the same thing! I have to butter my daughter up for a smile, “wow, that is one great shirt you are wearing! it’s a nice color! and your hair, it’s perfect today!!….btw, can I take a picture?”
Then, maybe I’ll get a smile.
🙂
She’s a sweetie Jan!

Yay for cooperative photography subjects! I tried taking photos of my kids the other day and they were NOT having it. lol Oh well. Guess there’s always a next time.

Oh look how big she’s getting – and all of that beautiful hair! And her smile is just beautiful… 🙂
She is beautiful! Those eyes are outstanding!
She’s such a beauty! I love her smile! 🙂
I love getting shots of my boys at the playground too. I think that are just so happy to be there that it makes getting good photos easy. Great shot!
Gorgeous!!
How cute, Janice. She is just darling. My son still (at 9 years old) doesn’t like his photo taken. He can’t sit still long enough… lol!
