Okay, so as I mentioned before, I’m starting to use Bloglines…
But, I’m rather confused… the last post (by Susan) didn’t seem to be noticed by Bloglines. It didn’t say our site was updated.
Can you help me out here? If you’re subscribed to our site through Bloglines, can you tell me if you saw that post called “Weekend Reflection” come through?
Is it just me or does Bloglines ever miss a post?
As others have said it takes awhile to show up on blog lines
OK so who wants to explain to me? What’s bloglines? What does it mean to ping a blog I am soo lost LOL But it sounds soo neat….
Sometimes it takes a little while for them to read the feed. I do see Weekend Reflection on my list.
It showed up for me, but I’m a little late getting on doing my blogging thing.

Do you send “pings?” I have found bloglines updates much more quickly if I “ping” my feeds after I have written a post.

It’s up for me. Bloglines updates on a continual basis not necessariy when you post it. So it will come up eventually.
I saw it this morning! And I love bloglines, although, I miss visiting everyone’s actual site sometimes. I wouldn’t get to see your smiley faces if I didn’t visit your site either! 🙂 Have a great day!
Yes, I got both at the same time, as well. I think Bloglines is generally delayed — sometimes by about 6-12 hours. So, it’s effective, but not necessarily quick!
Janice – sometimes it just takes a while. I’ve noticed that for some reason, our Sundays (here in Italy) move really slow on Bloglines. I don’t know if people don’t post until later on Sundays, or if Bloglines is doing maintenence, or what. But when I wake up on Monday (my time) there they all are, ready to read!
Oh – and yes, Susan’s came through too, at the same time yours did.
