When I was a teenager, I could not wait to go back to school shopping for clothes. I wasn’t much of a fashionista, but I did love to get new shoes and clothes. Back in the day (am I showing my age yet or what), my mom did not spend a lot on clothes. I basically got to get one new pair of shoes, one new pair of pants, and about 3 new shirts. Clothing was a little more expensive, so we had to really watch what we spent. If we would have had places like Target back then, things could have been a lot different.
Cute kids with stylish clothes are everywhere, but Target believes the best kids’ style comes from real kids. The back-to-school campaign this year celebrates kids’ style, from including real kids in the ads to encouraging parents to share how their kids are rocking their own unique style.

Unfortunately, we don’t get to wear what we want for school. But, to answer the question (ha!), for my son my favorite piece of clothing are polo shirts. He wears them daily and they get so much use throughout the school year. Target ones stay nice the longest and I love them!

My son is going into 1st grade this year. Last year, I bought all kinds of stuff. This year, I hit the sales and got shorts, t-shirts, and a couple of short sleeve button down shirts.
