| Project to Tackle: Unpacking and Laundry |

There is one thing I hate almost as much as packing – unpacking and all the laundry that goes with it.
And although our Bible camp is one of my favorite places in the world, packing and unpacking for a week at camp is a huge undertaking which I never look forward to. You see I was high maintenance, over-packing girl even before I had a child – now it is just plain embarrassing how much luggage I take. As well, my husband is the program director so he has extra stuff to drag up to the island. Let’s just say it is a good thing he has a truck or else we would never get all our stuff home. So here is our luggage after unloading the truck. Yes – horrific. Now just imagine all the filthy laundry crammed in there. Yes – feel sorry for me. |

It took me a couple days, but all the laundry is done and almost all of the toys and other items are put away. And here is my living room today. |

Wow – feels good. But we are going camping with my in-laws in a couple of weeks, so I will have to start all over again really soon. Oh well, the fun we have makes it all worth it. |

Wow, you did awesome. And look at that , you have a beautiful living room to show for it. URGH!! Yes, unpacking stinks. Literally!! lol
My husband and I once went on a 3000 motorcycle trip and I flew down to Las Vegas to meet him and ride back. We didn’t have enough room on the bike to fit all my stuff so we shipped all our dirty clothes home. It only too 3 days but boy were they stinky! I feel for ya!!

Ok, first let me say, your living room is gorgeous. Did you design it yourself, or have an interior designer do it?
Secondly, I just went through the whole luggage/laundry thing this weekend after our trip. I HATE unpacking and doing all the laundry after trips. Especially when the trip included nothing but sand, sand, sand….
I hate the whole unpacking laundry thing too! I also pack waaay too much stuff! Your living room is just beautiful!!

We just got back, well, dare I say, a week ago…and I STILL have laundry to put away and stuff not clean yet! *EAK* you did awesome, and I LOVE LOVE those chairs in your living room!

You didn’t an awesome job. Those trips can be very much overwhelming. I have never been a camping gal though. Must be because I was a little girl, our parents went camping with us all the time (money was tight). Not that I am high maintenance :wink:, but I like to have at least a bed to lay my head on…I know, what can I say.
