I love to take photos.
I love to grab as many of those fleeting moments of childhood as I can to stash away for the future.
But when I am at an event or out with family and friends, I often hesitate to pick up my camera. Why???
Because as much as I love taking photos of children, I hate even more the guilt of my overloaded hard drives packed with photos I never get distributed.
My life is so busy – and I am such a procrastinator – that I never make up CDs for people. And since the files are too big, I can’t email more than a few shots at a time. Plus, if you knew how behind I am on emails, you would understand that adding more emailing tasks to my life is more than stressful.
I don’t even take the time to print and frame pictures for my own home! The only shots I do have displayed are some random 4x6s I have plastered on my fridge.
I have an abandoned scrapbook table with hundreds of dollars of supplies that I left waiting for me in my basement when I started blogging. I ache to spend hours artfully arranging my children’s memories. But right now that is just not going to happen in my schedule.
If it weren’t for my blog, my precious photos would be completely unappreciated, hidden away in hard drives.

I love Shutterfly! Their pictures are top quality–way better than what you get from your local store. I also love scrapbooking. Even though I am on a limited budget, I still find scrapbooking supplies at places like the Dollar Tree and that makes me very happy!

I love the Share Site idea! At every family event we have a bunch of people with digital cameras and this would be nice to share everything with each other. We only have 1 aunt who uses a regular film camera anymore – she doesn’t even have a computer – but she visits the rest of us enough that we can show her when she visits.

I love Shutterfly too. I use it to make photo books. With the numerous pictures I take, photo books are a great option to keep them organized and they take up such a small amount of space as compared with standard photo albums.

Wow. Reading this made me think you were talking about me! I was great keeping up with all the pictures with my first son. Since sons number 2 and 3 have come along, I have gotten worse and worse. I do post pictures on Shutterfly to share with friends and family, though. I try to post them right after an event, to make sure I do it. If I don’t do it right away, forget it! I love Shutterfly. I have been using it for about a year. And you can order pictures online and pick them up at Target. How great is that?

I love Shutterfly and have been using their sharing site ever since my daughter was born…their “new” sharing sites, though, do require upgraded browsers if you have an older version of Safari, like I do.

I use Shutterfly to make scrapbooks — much quicker and less expensive than the traditional method.
Of course, now that I’m blogging, I haven’t done a book in 2 years. But a girl can dream.

Oooh, I love Shutterfly! I love the IDEA of scrapbooking, but not the actual practice of cutting tiny things out, so these online things are perfect for me. Also, I have a trip to Mexico that needs albuming.
i’ve made a couple of photo books in the past through shutterfly and was very impressed w/ their quality. i haven’t done one in a couple years, though and would LOVE $50 to get me started again!! i’ll have to check out the new photo share thing . . . w/ a 9 mo. old and our closest family being a 12 hr. drive, i’m sure they’d appreciate it event more!!
