I have an enormous sweet tooth. Not only does chocolate bring a smile to my face instantly, but it is also one of the fastest ways to my heart. When Shari’s Berries asked me to review some of their chocolate covered strawberries, as part of our Mother’s Day Giveaway event, I of course jumped at the chance.
The chocolate covered strawberries and mini cheesecakes couldn’t have arrived on a better day. I am in the process of trying to sell my home. I spent four hours this past Saturday morning taking part in Girl Scout activities with my troop. I also had two cranky sons who I had to tote along with me. By 12:30 in the afternoon, my poor boys were officially done with the Girl Scout morning and ready to get home, have lunch and take a nap. Unfortunately, the Real Estate office called and asked me to stay out of my house for the next three hours for showings. I was given about 45 minutes before I had to stay out of my home. It was just enough time to race home, get some food in their bellies and pick up my house a bit.
On my way out the door, completely stressed, I was greeted by the delivery man. In his hands were treats from Shari’s Berries. It was such a sight for sore eyes and brought an instant smile to my face. The presentation was beautiful, I almost didn’t want to break into any of the treats. They were also extremely irresistible, so I grabbed a couple of chocolate covered strawberries for the road, placed everything else in my fridge for later and skipped to my car. And those strawberries, they were SCRUMPTIOUS.
On Saturday evening, I treated myself to the Rocky Road Chocolate Cheesecake. Oh, was it ever delicious!

I actually dipped strawberries back at Mother’s Day about 7 years ago for Sheri’s Berries, it was exhausting (I worked at night) but fun because a friend and I did it together! Sheri’s Berries are sooo good!
