The kids in my area have now been in school for about 3 weeks. Families are getting into routines, schedules are getting fuller, and honestly — that is just life.

For me it’s the Kitchen Timer, Pyrex glass measuring cups, Whisk and my two favorite Kitchen Knives!!! Without these 5 tools, cooking and baking is a lot harder, they are simply must haves. 🙂

I always use my vegetable steamer! Using a microwave still gives me the heebie jeebies, so I opt to cook the old fashioned way. Instead of stir frying veggies, I love to just throw them in the steamer over some boiling water and prepare the rest of the meal while they cook. Too easy! And minimal clean up!

I couldn’t make it without my crock pot. Those days when I have to work 10 hour shifts, I am not up to fixing dinner when I get home.
Would it be wrong to say the can-opener? Seriously, I use canned soup as a base for many of my meals. Thanks for the giveaway.

My Favorite Gadget Is The Slow Cooker!
I just started homeschooling this week as well! I’m slightly nervous now that everyone else is officially going back to school on Mon, but looking forward to the challenge. I would LOVE to get that Pure Living Cookware set as that would def make my life easier. I love the fact that it is ceramic and a healthy cooking option.

I don’t know if you would call it a gadget, but I couldn’t live without my cheap little paring knife. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many times a day I use it.

I love my rice cooker – it always cooks perfectly and keeps it warm, so you don’t have to time it perfectly to finish cooking when dinner is ready!
