An Afternoon at the Beach…

What a long week it has been. I wish I had more to show at the end of it too! But unfortunately it is late Friday night and I am still overwhelmed. The laundry pile stubbornly remains, (I am working on it – but it just won’t seem to disappear!) we still do not have our email mess sorted out since the crash, and we don’t even have Susan set up on a new machine yet. (She wants to go with another Dell, so we have to wait for it to arrive.) For all of you waiting for listings, please hold on – it will be a bit before we are caught up.

But I did manage to get away from my computer and my messy house this afternoon for Jackson’s school field trip to the beach. It was a beautiful afternoon and Jackson and his friends had a great time.

Here are a couple shots from the day.

I hope you have a great, restful Memorial Day weekend! What are you planning on doing? Are you heading out of town, or relaxing at home? We are in Canada – so we had our holiday last weekend. (Hence the tons of laundry from our weekend away.) So this weekend, I will be here, at my computer, trying to get caught up. But I am not complaining – I did have a wonderful trip away last weekend. Because Susan still had the camera in Italy, I didn’t have it with me on. So that is why I haven’t posted any pictures from that trip.

  1. Looks like you had a wonderful time at the beach. I love the beach.
We are home this weekend, relaxing. We do not like to travel during busy weekends–I am not so good sitting in traffic.

    Be blessed today and always.

  2. Fun photos. Oh, I’ll miss our beach time this summer because we’ll be moving. So if any of you commenting folks post beach photos this summer, let me know so I may live my beach time through you. 🙂

  7. What a beautiful picture. I love the one of him in the water. No plans this weekend except to bbq in the backyard. Father in law and his woman friend will be joining us. He misses his grandbabies. So that should be relaxing. Today we’re going to brave a trip to IKEA again to exchange some patio chairs (too small) and head to the swap meet to buy loads of flowers to put throughout the house.

    Hafe a safe weekend also.

  8. Well, I’d love to say we’re spending the holiday at the beach, Janice, but alas, we’re spending the holiday in the backyard. LOL

You haven’t said much about the pregnancy lately – I hope that means you’re finally feeling really great and enjoying getting big. 🙂

Oh- those pics are great! We’ll be heading to the beach sometime soon. We live just minutes from Lake Michigan. This Memorial Day we’re supposed to go to a friend’s BBQ but their child now has pneumonia! AH! Hopefully it will all work out!

Hope you get that laundry done at a rapid pace!
