Disciplining my boys has been one of the toughest things for me. Coming from a rough childhood, I have promised myself not to be too harsh with them, but there are times where I don’t kow what to do anymore! Time outs are the only thing I can do and will do..and then I speak very directly to them and let them know that I love them after they apoligize. I guess god loves us so I don’t really think he’s going to punish us as most of us think- I think he’ll facilitate a situation where we can really think about what we’ve done and hopefully will give us an opportunity to appoligize or fix things – then he’ll tell us he loves us! Kinda like a godly time out! Thanks again for the wonderful blog.
