(I also really cannot afford to buy one, with my health being bad I am losing my long hair… This would help get it out of our carpet and our dog’s hair too.. I love that they are giving money for breast cancer. I give my services and money to charities whenever I can. I give my hair to Locks of Love regularly and give clothes to people in need and food and money when I can. My fiance thinks it’s cute because I’ll run over someone to get the remote to change the channel when a commercial for starving children or abused animals comes on because I will start BAWLING. I still give to these causes even though I don’t watch. I just can’t deal with watching people or even animals suffer, so I tip my hat to anyone, individual or company, that takes away from their time or financial resources to help those in need.
I would LOVE a pink Dyson. I have been waiting for them to be in the stores again (for over a year). My sister loves Dyson, and since our vacuum breaks a lot at the most inopportune times, we really need one. We just used a shop vac to get ready for my daughter’s birthday party 🙂 Anyway, even if I don’t win, where can I buy one that’s pink?

I am a 31 year old fighting survivor! I found out I have triple negative breast cancer in June this year and have already had a bilateral mastectomy and I am still going through chemotherapy. Due to the aggressive nature of this type of cancer and the fact it is only 4 millimeters from my chest wall I still have to have radiation. With a low immune system keeping a clean house is SO important and I really need this new Dyson PINK vacuum to stay healthy! With all the medical bills I cannot afford to buy my own. Please pick me!

The best equipment you can offer your baby is a clean floor! That is what a local dance teacher told me and its true. I am a first time mother, this will be my first mothers day. My nine month old son puts every little teeney thing he finds on the floor in his mouth. And yes we vacuum every other day. But our vaccuum is no good and he still finds things, and then he gags on them. Most commonly he finds little pieces of wood that come of the firewood logs as we bring them inside. It worries me a lot. I am constantly having to check his mouth. I actually put a dyson vacuum on my Target baby registry, but no one got it for us. I guess people prefer to buy cute things, but honestly I was really hoping for the vacccum. And now ofcourse, we our down my income and up the cost of baby stuff. No money left. And yes a pink Vacuum would be cool, matches my name “Rosa”, but if could just get a great functional Dyson Vacuum that would actually suck up the stuff that my son finds, that would incredible!! Sorry I dont have a blog, I wish I did.

Having a cat and being allergic without a good vacuum is annoying at best. I could really use a dyson!
Well, my daughter is a super senior (5th year of college) at a interior design school in Chicago. She met a man two year ago. They just recently rented an apartment together, to save on expenses. She informed me that her boyfriend said they should get married so they can get a new vacuum. Everything in apartment is pink, black and white.

4 kids, 4 cats, 1 dog = a Dydson that gets a serious workout in my home. I have the purple ‘pet’ Dyson and just bought the newer lightweight Slim model for my daughter’s new house. I’m always amazed how much my Dyson picks up.

I would SO love to have a new Dyson. Two of my married daughters have and love their’s. I have a dog and when I vacuum, not only does my vacuum not work worth beans, but then it puts DOG SCENT into the air–NOT pleasant. My mom passed away from breast cancer in 2003, a few days after my son (who was born with down syndrome just days before my mom’s diagnosis) turned 1. Hey, this is cool! I stumbled onto this giveaway from someone else’s blog and couldn’t resist. Yes, there’s a connection — my mom is going through her SECOND round of breast cancer in two years (ugh!) but so far things are going well. It’s funny how, in the past, I’ve noticed ads for Breast Cancer Research or other BC organizations, but now that we’re involved first-hand, anything PINK sticks out and socks-it-to-ya. I even bought a few bags of pink M&M’s … but I think a new vacuum is much, much healthier. Thanks for the giveaway! I rarely win things, but I sure hope this works out. Cool!

I think it’s SO nice to have a pink vacumn~ BUT, the MOST IMPORTANT part of this is the donation to the American Cancer Society… along with joining in the “pink awareness” scene– to help everyone be more aware/cautious, etc. about breat cancer!! I’d love to win one–but if I don’t I’ll have to try to save up my money for one! (hope they keep manufacturing them for quite awhile!?) My life has been drastically shaped by cancer running rampant through my family history – I hate this disease and what it does to so many precious families. No matter who wins the Dyson, I hope everyone who participates is reminded of the need to be proactive in screening and regular self-exams for early detection of this disease. Oh, my Gosh….I would be “over the moon” if I won this! I have not had a new vacuum in years. I have been using this 1960 Hoover version, that came from my husbands grandmother. It does not even have crevice tools or anything, I have to use the wet/dry vac we have if I want to clean baseboards! This would be awesome!

I have been in Love with Mr Dyson for so long! From the first time they hit the market in England(I was living in London at the time and had one of the groovey yellow canister jobbies), to several years later when I called Dyson from the States and asked them WHEN they would be selling them to the US market. I love them so much my sister sent a child sized one from New Zealand for my two year old last Christmas!

I have always tried to support “pink” campains. I never knew anyone who had breast cancer, so the impact of the disease seemed removed from me. But the other day, I went in for a routine mamogram and got a call the next day from a nurse saying that they “saw something suspicious and want to do some further tests”. Now suddenly the possibility of breast cancer affecting me directly has become real. Its like owning a new car. Previous to owning it you may not have ever noticed others driving the same vehicle, now that you own one too, you see them everywhere. I am believing that it is nothing to be worried about. But I do know that I will do more than I have to support the fight against Breast Cancer.

If I could afford one I’d buy one this very second as my current vacum didn’t just loose suction two days after buying it but hurts like heck when it falls on me when I vacum the stairs. I had a Dyson several years ago when they first came out but it broke and I haven’t been able to afford a new one. 🙁 But my wonderful mother is a Breast Cancer survivor and I am deeply devoted to research into this terrible cancer as I am now highly at risk along with millions of other women so this vacuum edition is so exciting to me!!

My old Oreck has been faithful to me for several years now. I really enjoyed it because it’s lightweight and very powerful, and when it was acting up I could take it to an Oreck shop to repair it. Once they even did so at no charge. I even downloaded instructions on unclogging it so that when the suction got a little low I could take it apart and remove an amalgamation of tiny Lego, hair, strings and misc. kid stuff that had jammed it.
But it’s time to let go, as the cord has gotten chewed once too many times and it may be a hazard. Send winning vibes my way for the Pink Dyson ok?

I trully am one of those who dreams of a dyson. I would love it, and my dogs (and their constant shedding) would no longer be a time consuming pain in the patoot. They would much rather have me spending the extra time petting and loving on them.

I have always wanted a Dyson and now they are celebrating women everywhere! We all know people that are affected by breast cancer and I think its great they are donating money for research for men and women everywhere.
My fiancee and I wanted to put a Dyson on our wedding registry but opted not to because it’s too expensive!
And my fiancee’s aunt died of breast cancer, so, while small…this would be an awesome way to remember her.
