DYMO Personal Label Maker

Are you organized?

Me, either (or if you started shaking in excitement just thinking about it, and gave a silent “You bet,” my response is “Oh. Well I’m not.”).

However, when it’s time to get all those nice new school supplies ready, some sort of primal organizational instinct kicks in. I unpackage all of the writing utensils and store them in the brand new pencil bag or box that I’ve purchased for my daughter. I stow the extras in the pencil box from last year in our desk (it’s perfectly good, but she needs a new one each year of course).

If “Back-to-School” for you means college, there’s even more of an organizational challenge in store. Making sure that your supplies are kept separate from your roommate’s in that small cubicle of a dorm room can be quite a task.

When everything is put in it’s place, what makes it seem even more organized?

Labels.

The DYMO Personal Label Maker has a wide assortment of tapes to meet your every need, including iron-on, magnetic, different colors, clear, and metallic.

Other user-friendly features include:

  • 13-character display with print preview to allow for easy editing
  • 9 label memory for frequently used labels
  • 5 font sizes, 7 print styles, 8 box styles, and 2 line printing options

To find out more, watch this video which highlights each feature of the LetraTag Plus.

Would you like to win a new DYMO Personal Label Maker and an assortment of label tapes so that you can type, mark and stick to your heart’s content? Leave a comment here telling us what desperately needs to be labeled in your home. Be sure to follow the directions on the main giveaway post. The winners will be announced on August 13.

I am a school teacher and have fourth graders who are just as bad as first graders at misplacing things. Our district does not provide labelers but I do need one for the class room – not to mention our own house!

  611. Our whole filing cabinet for starters 🙂

  612. I need this to help tackle the back to school for kids, my own new classroom and the house. Pick me!

  613. Oh I would love one of these!

  614. the holly says:

oh…i’ve been looking at labelers lately…

  615. I love the “art of labeling”…unfortunately my old Brother labeler (circa 199?) is not cooperating with me anymore!! I would love to retire the old girl!

  616. Wow, I’d have fun with this. I have so many things that need to be labeled!!

  621. I would love to get my hands on one of those. We just sold our house and moved into a smaller townhouse for my husbands new job. Everything now has to be super organized. This would help tons!!

  622. Steph Elias says:

What needs to be labeled: Toy bins, boxes of tax stuff, kids clothes, etc…None of our stuff is really labled right now. It would come in handy, thats for sure.

  623. Katrina (Callapidder Days) says:

Enter me please! I desperately need to label all the storage boxes in the basement that I am slowly going through, organizing, and storing.

  624. Oh this looks like loads of fun! My daughter is starting nursery this year and I’ve already got a list going of what has to be labeled. I’m also embarking on the startup of my own home based business so I’m sure this item would come in handy!

Thanks for the giveaways! I’ve got your button on my sidebar!

  625. Everything needs labeling! I, too, think winning a labeler would motivate me to organize things — maybe just so I could label them! I also need to label my son’s school supplies. I would love, love, love to win this! Thanks for sharing.

  626. Totes & boxes in the basement, the attic, & closets. What a wonderful win this would be. Thanks!

  627. I love to label things, but my labeler got lost in our move nearly 4 years ago! We have a room so packed with junk that I can barely walk in it (it’s probably where the labeler is.) And I think winning this new Dymo would really kick-start my motivation for cleaning and organizing that room into the craft room I’ve always wanted!

  628. Lisa Overcash says:

Boxes in the attic. There’s so many that it’s hard to find what you are looking for.

    Great for organizing

  631. Amanda Agema says:

I try to be a very organized person, but it seems we are always adding new folders in our office or new bins of stuff in our basement. The labeler would be perfect for staying on top of this stuff and creating a more organized household.

  637. Shirley Hodge says:

At 72 have so much STUFF I would like to label so I can give it to my kids if any of them want some of it, and to my grandbabies if any of them want some of it and the rest to the charity shop but it all has to be sorted and labeled before that can happen. Only stuff I don’t want to label are my bird and my kitty.

  638. Looks great – please enter me in the giveaway.

    Tanya

  639. With 5 kids, i could really use the the label maker!!

  640. I put all of our about 400 dvds in 2 large CD cases. I would like to create labels to each DVD of the title!

  641. Hey Jennifer,

I can so relate to you! There was not a single organizational gene in me when I was born. Just to show God has a sense of humor, I married a man so organized that it can be painful. The last almost 15 years have seen more than one confrontation.

Labeling has been a saving grace for me – that I’ve only just begun to develop. That way I can put things away (so that he can’t “see” them) and still know what is where.

Now I just need to get my files and the kids school stuff in order ;). Always one more thing that needs to be done I guess.

  642. Definitely my messy and disorganized pantry!

  643. Just about everything that belongs to my daughter. She starts daycare in a week, and needs everything labeled.
